Great and tasty food!!! My goodness, the portion sizes were enormous! Good prices as well, lovely atmosphere at the terrace, prompt service despite them being quite busy. Will definitely visit again. Was a great night out.
A great place to eat and grab a few beers! They people working there are so friendly and give great recommendations. They have a good amount of vegan options - to drink and eat! Stop there to grab a bite if you are ever in Sligo.
Nice pub with a relaxed laid back feeling. Good food, can recommend oysters, seafood chowder and burgers. Reservation in the weekend is recommended.Recommended dishesSeafood Chowder, Burger Menü
For some reason I thought they were only a pub until a recent walk by when I noticed food. First time in last night and ‍ we have been missing out!! Yum! Extensive menu to fit everyone's budget, tastes, diet - whatever you're working with! Everything tasted amazing and the Guinness was perfection. The pub is also full of snugs for privacy and lovely old-style decor, fireplaces, the works. So glad I now know.
Update : We come back 2 weeks ago and we were very disappointed. David was serving us again. We had just a pint of Guinness and tea ,some tart. Excellent service gone with the wind. He seems to be very " tired" and his answer to our questions about menu was just strange and not nice. So not recommended this place and we won't come back. For this money prefer to go to GLASSHOUSE.Hargadon Bros. is a typical Irish pub in the center of Sligo. I love the atmosphere of these places. The service is very professional and nice. Dubhan informed us about the gluten free meals. People looking for this type of food have a great choice in this bar. We ordered the gluten free Beef fillet truffle burger and the normal Flame grilled irish ribeye. The food was delicious with Guinness. Thank you to Dubhan for the excellent service.

True and Authentic Best Fish n Chips in whole Ireland Friendly staff that welcomes you to the table sitting area even though you are a single customer. Maginificent experience. I will def come back againFood: 5/5
Great food and drink in a lovely pub setting. Live Irish music session on Friday evenings, but mostly just a nice place for a quiet drink, or food if booked in advance.Food: 5/5
Emailed a month in advance of a booking, received a reply a few days later saying manager would get back to me later that day..a month later he replied. Had called numerous times previous to this to no avail. Eventually phone was answered and was sworn to that they would 100% get back to me...never heard a thing. Can't rate the food but their customer service is beyond second rate.
Excellent food with excellent service, all the staff were pleasant, attentive and very friendly. All in all a most enjoyable experience.Food: 5/5
