Lovely thatched pub/restaurant, serving great food,.When they're busy they open upstairs, which is nice and cosy.
Tend to consider myself a picker eater but The Village Inn laid on such a beautiful meal. Wouldnt have changed anything on the plate, everything was cooked perfectly and would highly recommend to anyone! Would love to visit again!
Due to Covid 19 and limited availability. We were lucky to be able to reserve a table for an evening meal, whereas a lot of places we tried in Shanklin were fully booked, so would advise to book before going. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food though slightly expensive was amazing in a quirky cosy pub atmosphere.

Fab meal for two. The Steak and Ale pie was excellent, the chips were some of best we've ever had. Not too expensive either and great service.
My wife had "the best steak of her life", and the mussels I had were delicious. Fantastic staff and a lovely atmosphere. We will visit again next time we are here.
Such a pleasure to visit. The ribs are amazing! Nice ambience, good beers & great staff! Worth more than one visit.
Wonderful food, large servings, warm atmosphere and friendly team. What more can you ask for! Highly recommend the chicken breast and sticky ribs, delicious!!
