In my opinion this is possibly the best chip shop on the wirral. Order your food as you go in and it is cooked/warmed while you wait. There is Chinese food, kebabs, burgers and a pizzeria as well so most tastes are catered for. As testament to the food it is always busy. Good value for money as well. Vegetarian options: There is a good variety of vegetarian options especially in the Chinese menu. My wife also enjoyed the veggie burger and in another occasion, one of the pizzas. Parking: Parking is limited but available. Don't often need to wait long, high turn around of cars trends to mean spaces come up quite frequently. Dietary restrictions: There are options on the menu and the staff are very helpful too at offering suggestions. Chinese food is often good for Gluten free diets.
Chips were like boiled potatoes, chicken chow mein was requested with no mushrooms and had mushrooms which ruined the meal for my partner, Ordered a pepperoni pizza that was brutal, dough was stale, and the pizza sauce was tomato puree with a mound of badly melted cheese that was covering the pepperoni it tasted pretty terrible and looked awful. Spent 33 quid and barely ate the food. Normally alright here to be fair but was really bad tonight
Ordered food online phoned 5 minutes later to add more food on said that’s fine they’ve added it on. Phoned 90 minutes later to see where it was and they said they missed the order
Ordered salt and pepper chips and there’s was literally 2 shreds of pepper and that’s it, basically just chips. To top it all off I found a HUGE piece of plastic in it! BEST TO STEAR CLEAR!
Food is good but mean with portion size on chips which lets it down-chips are what makes a Chippy
Disgusting... Was a loyal customer for many years until today. Very, very greasy chips that where hard. The fish was dried up and again too greasy. What a shame. Never again
Fantastic range of food and all very well prepared Parking: A busy chippy so busy parking but well worth it
Very friendly and helpful staff, who dish up the most amazingly wonderful tasty food, from which ever section of their menu you eat, from yummy fish and chips to delicious Chinese to scrummy burgers!!! We'd definitely recommend them!!!!
Gave this place a one star review a while back because the chips were consistently awful. Now changed to a four star because the chips have improved could still be better but getting there and I must say the salt and pepper chicken is Gorgeous! Delivery is usually quick as well. Well done guys. If you can start doing a proper onion gravy I'll add more stars
I've tried a few meals from here: fish and chips, kebab, pizza etc. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.
