There are half a dozen fish and chips outlets in the wider GX area but we always use this one, it's the best. Parking: Room for a few cars but always a free space.

Just moved to the area and thought we give this place a go. Consistency was a bit off, 1 of our fish was nice and crispy but the other had soggy batter. Portion sizes decent.
Traditional British fish and chips, hardly any wait, perfectly cooked food, friendly staff. Often the first port of call after work on a Friday or any other day when my daughter is hungry. For years I didn't eat fish and chips because I lived next to one which was not the best but these guys have put it back in the menu since we moved here.
Very friendly owner, fish is good, chips were ok. Was impressed with the cardboard containers rather than the plastic ones so obviously owner is an environmentalist and very responsible. Needs to change the plastic forks for wooden ones and then the transformation is complete.
The local Beavers group were on a walk through the next village. We had arranged with Paul, Chip Shop owner to stop off before going back to the Guide hut for us all to have some lovely chips. Thankfully the weather was kind to us. Paul is always accomodating in those situations, I often stop there for my Fish and Chips, and that's because their lovely.

Man who either works in the shop or owns The Village Chippy in Chalfont Saint Giles, has a big attitude problem in my opinion. I am old fashioned with traditional values. When I told him I had given him 8/10 for his fish and 2/10 as chips were cold + he addressed me as 'mate' on GoogleMaps abou he refused to serve me.
Went in the other day for first time... food was fantastic !! Good value good portions very clean shop... Was served by the owner Paul absolute gentleman. Would highly recommend
