Excellent food, lovely staff and quick service. Food portions, particularly for the kids, are generous and well priced. If your are coming here, book in advance to avoid disappointment, as it is always busy.Food: 5/5
Can't say I'd recommend however I would be willing to give a second chance. Ordered steaks done medium they arrived closer to rare than medium but this was honestly a minor issue for us. Now the pint on the other hand had to be sent back as pictures show no explanation needed, replacement wasn't much better and I suspect was same pint just with some head removed and topped up, came back way to quick to have been freshly poured. Mentioned these issues when paying and did receive an apology. All in all wasn't my worst experience in a restaurant and will give a second chance but will be less forgiving 2nd time around.

absolutely delicious, we had a sloppy pizza, cajun chicken pizza, and a gluten free spicy Italian sausage pasta, good portion sizes. It was really busy we we arrived and we hadn't booked but they did manage to get us a table, service was good and was not long waits for our food to arrive. Would we recommend, definitely Wheelchair accessibility: ground level access Dietary restrictions: gluten free and vegetarian options
A great evening celebrating a big birthday. On a busy Saturday night staff were very attentive and the food was just amazing. Also good value hard to find these days. I had a lovely scallop & black pudding starter. For my main I had pappardelle alla Bistecca Thin slices of Angus sirloin steak pan-fried with bacon and mushrooms finished in a caramelised butter, Pecorino & Reggiano cheese and wilted baby spinach sauce tossed through Pappardelle pasta delicious!! I thoroughly recommend!
There is a reason why you have to book in advance and that is because this is the best restaurant in Newcastle. The pizza, service and cleanliness were all fabulous for a very reasonable price as well, so I will definitely return when back in Newcastle.Recommended dishesGarlic Bread
Starters and specials were first class and good value. I wouldn't typically go to Italian restaurants as I am not overly fond of pasta or pizza as an evening meal out. Pleasantly surprised at the selection of small plates/starters. I will be back when next in the area. Book on advance as it is very popular in the evenings.Food: 5/5

Could not get through on the phone to book a table however, I walked around and it was clear to see why they couldn't answer. They were full. The staff were great and were able to get us a reservation. Upon arrival our table was ready, a space for a wheelchair was already made and a baby highchair in place. This meant there was no fuss/attention drawn to us. As I already said the staff were great all of them, friendly and professional. As for the food, well we all loved our meals to the point we were boasting how our meal was the best choice. So wheelchair and child friendly, situated in a good location. Staff great and food amazing, highly recommend.
