As a Dutchman I still think you Brits don’t know how to cook your chips, but I really enjoyed this little fish and chips place. Kind people, fast service and overall a good experience. There even was mayonaise for my chips! In the back of the shop there are a few seats for eating in. Handy!
You could have great food as delicious fish & chip, kebab that we ordered today. All of us even my twin boys love the food there. The shop boss Ijaz and tje staff are kindly, considerate with great service. It is amazed by this small restaurant with great food and service. Definitely will be there again!
Usually always order from here, but this time the kebah was undercooked, my husband took 1 bite. The chips were soggy undercooked and dripping in oil. Battered was dry. Called up to complain and getba refund, was offered £5 the owner was so rude. The driver was lovely and came round with the £5, showed him the food and he said its not right. Its a shame but we will not be coming here again. Try elsewhere, it's not how it used to be and really bad customer service from management.
We were late customers and opted for delivery. The food was appalling, the chips were old and warm and hard like they’d been kept warm for some time. The large cod we ordered was two smaller pieces and similarly looked like they were had been sitting for some time. The pickled onion was nice. We had used the Viking for years until we had a bad one, then used the Tudor and Meriden fish and chip shops and they were far better. Today, we thought we’d give the Viking a go to see if it had improved and wondering if we had just had a bad one that one time. My husband has just described his £16+ fish and chips was ‘VILE’. I’m going to call them tomorrow as they’re shut now and tell them how disappointed we are yet again.
One of best fish and chip shops in Watford. Better to call in advance and order as they can be very busy.
This seriously is the best fish and chips in Watford - matter of fact in Hertfordshire. Great energy in the shop , I always get 11/10 service
Top Chicken kebabs from this place and the chilli sauce is just right. Give the Samosas a go too and you won’t be disappointed!
Was recommended to me by the Pastor of the Soul Survivor church - and indeed the Kebab was excellent. The staff also came across as both friendly and enthusiastic.Food: 5/5
What's too say besides 100% perfect food price delivery excellent service will definitely be continuing my custom any bad reviews must be fasle as this is by far the best fish and chip shop especially the currysauce
By far the most friendliest chippy in Herts coupled with well served menu. Fast efficient & courteous
