It’s been a little more than three years since I walked through the doors of Victory Life Church Leek. What a crazy journey it was to get there that morning but one I’m so grateful I made.nFrom that first visit something inside of me started to come alive again. The worship is honest and passionate and the word is communicated in a simple,engaging and truthful way, shining light on the pages of scripture and producing a hunger to learn more and to grow. Jesus is always at the centre of each teaching.nA warm welcome is given to all by Pastors Brett and Trish, elders Paul and Mel and the membersnIf you want to know how much God loves you, how much He loves each and every one of us, inspite of all our failings, and how He wants to have a personal relationship with us, come along and find out. Just come as you are and be prepared to be welcomed and blessed.
We find this church to be loving in it's care of other's. The Pastor's are strong, dedicated and sincere in the teachings of the word of God. It is good to be where Pastors and Deacons are strong in faith and work together in harmony,where their main goal is to please God. It is infectious .
I was part of a C of E Church for over 20 years. I became dissatisfied and I wanted more. I joined Victory Church in Leek about 4 and 1/2 years ago, just after it started up. I had never heard teaching like it before. I was like a sponge but wasn't even getting damp. I wanted more and more of what was on offer. Through Bible studies and fellowship groups, the Bible has been brought alive to me, fromnHow and why God had to put Adam and Eve outside the Garden of Eden,nWhy Israel,nWhy Noah was told to build the Arc, Understanding God's wrath and seeing His love for us throughout the Old Testament - tonwhy Jesus had to be born of a virgin,nwhy the crucifixion, etc. etc.nThe leadership team led by Pastors Brett and Trish just take the Bible and go into depth, revealing truths that are hidden from Genesis to Revelations.nI have learned more in 4 years than 20 years in other churches. I encourage anyone who is looking for change to come and give us a try.
From the moment we stepped into Victory Church, we felt welcomed by the Pastors, Brett and Trish and all the members.nnWe love the services with an amazing worship time in which we connect with God and the Word-based preachings.nnThere are also weekly life groups where we deepen our understanding and relationship with God.nnWe highly recommend Victory Church to anyone looking to join a church with Jesus at the centre.
In all honesty some years back I would have never thought I would go to church and believe in God. The world seemed like a dark place to navigate, full of trauma, distress, hurt, illness, loss and unjust. The support, guidance and teachings from the Pastors and people you meet will all encourage and equip you to seek the Holy Spirit in your life and to understand the power of the word of God.nnVisit Victory Church and be Blessed!
