I didn’t knew about Alderley Park before. We came here for business and were looking for a nice dinner spot. We have not been disappointed.nThe interior is maybe not for every taste but we liked it and at least there is a theme. However that’s a minor point.nMore important are service and food.nService was adequate for a usual restaurant. But if they intend to play in exquisite, high level categories , then it could have been sometimes more attentive.nnHowever, the food and drinks were great. Delicious, nicencrossover mixtures, spot on. Many dishes had this wow-effect after the taste explosion in your mouth.
A lovely restaurant. Love the decor and ambience. Calm and relaxed. Wasn't busy with only a few tables occupied. Came for a late lunch. Procecco was delicious. Hubby enjoyed his steak and chips. I had the crispy duck sushi roll which was very tasty. Great service. The waiter was handsome and stylish in his bow tie. Highly recommended.
Absolutely succulent roast chicken. We were so happy to find out it was halal, as that is such a rarity.nnThe mocktail was also delicious and the setting is very nice. We’re definitely coming back.
Lovely ambience and very attentive service. The dishes are always spot on. Varied menu for all palates. However, I wish they did a gluten free wasabi! I’ve brought my own in the past! nOnly criticism would be… We received a call after arriving 30 minutes before to say our table we were sitting at would be given away if we didn’t arrive in next 5 minutes.
After listening to all the hype of victors, I was very disappointed with our visit. All I’m going to say is take down the wisteria, and remove the Alderley Edge address we have visited better cafe / bistro s elsewhere. Maybe it was a better experience later in the evening, and maybe we just choose the wrong things to eat. We have been and seen and that’s ok. No desire to return, but I am a big believer in you have to try different places and then at least you can say you have been.
