Story

I welcome you warmly to our school’s Facebook page. We hope that you enjoy finding out about our school and what we offer to our children and families. Victoria Road Primary School is a larger than average primary school set in the heart of the community. Our school was built over 125 years ago and we are very proud of its heritage. We have a very dedicated team of staff who work tirelessly to provide quality learning opportunities for our children. We have very high expectations in all that we do and aim to offer the very best for our children so that they develop into happy, confident and responsible learners. We are working hard to develop a rich and varied curriculum with an emphasis upon key skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT. I am proud to be Victoria Road’s headteacher and invite you to work with us in the next phase of our school journey. I am committed to developing the whole school community and see it very much as a partnership between home and school. Victoria Road Primary is a very exciting school to be a part of.
