Great place to take your kids swimming, but the website for booking is not great, but don't turn up without booking because if they're busy, you will get turned away.nWe booked the splash pool because of my kids but I knew what the pool is like. The website isn't clear about what pools are which, who they're suitable etc. They need this updating with better information.nReception staff were great. Pool staff dodnt seem very happy
Lovely pool facilities and has been kept up quite well over the years. Only downside is when there is swimming lessons and a public swim they block the entrance ladders and stairs to the public area which makes access hard for someone with limited strength or kids. You could cross over but often it would interrupt the lesson and the staff don’t like it. Also wish the lockers were free. It’s only 20p but when you are already paying for a membership you’d expect it to be included and I always forget to bring the 20p.
If you enjoy cold water swimming of an evening then the main pool is ideal . It has been over two months now of extremely low water temperatures and still no improvement, despite it being reported on numerous occasions.
The pool is great, the slide is even better, although, the water at the top of the slide where you queue is quite dirty and cloudy. The pool for the kids is amazing my little sister loved it and the slide for 8 and below. The changing rooms are moderately clean. There was a bit of dirt on the floor where I got changed but I didn’t see it being consistent around the whole changing room. The lockers taking your 20p is diabolical and I want my 20p back. The staff are quite strict though but apart from that I really enjoyed my stay here. I will be coming again!
I am giving just 1 star for the car park. Even though they offer Parent and Baby sessions on a Monday there are no Parent and baby spaces. Making impossible take out or to put your baby in your car safely. This really needs looking at and sorting.
