What a lovely little pub on the running river.. the pub was very busy with food and after ordering and getting our food i could see why, we had the Sunday roast beef and it was absolutely marvellous, beef was spot on and cooked to perfection and they wasn't shy with it either , so much meet and one of the best Sunday roasts.. when we go back to the area we shall definitely be coming back.
Great cosy pub with friendly attentive staff. Stayed b&b. Great cooked breakfast. Room was over the pub so music and talking could be heard a bit until closing but really quiet after that.Rooms: 4/5

Large car park opposite pub located at the bridge over the river off the main road. Dog friendly in all areas. One of the best roast beef Sunday lunches I've had. Lovely welcoming staff. Super service.Service: 5/5
Has to be one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever had! Beef fell apart and it was a huge portion. Piping hot and no lumps in the mash at all! Lovely staff too. Didn't stay over night so can't comment on rooms.Service: 5/5
Amazing Sunday roast! The beef was probably the tastiest beef I’ve ever had and it was a huge serving of meat. Dog friendly restaurant, we will definitely be back
Food fine but took about 30 minutes to clear table, very frustrating as we're waiting for our desserts all this time. A minor issue maybe to some but a nuisance so easily remedied.
We made reservations, then we’re told it was about a 45 minute wait for the food and got to watch as people who came in after us all ate and left then got our starter with the meal. We were NOT a big party 3 and it just felt like they forgot what a reservation meant. We won’t be returning obviously

Lovely cosy feeling, good priced and excellent food, dog friendly. Food took awhile however it was busy!
