We popped in today for lunch with our 2 woofs and I so glad we did. A lovely place with very nice food and drinks. A huge portion of cod, very nicely cooked. A great price for the area too! They could be a bit more generous with the condiments being my only niggle
A fantastic pub in a truly wonderful part of the country. Changed to new owners at the start of 2020 but still run to a high standard. Friendly and welcoming staff who work very hard, it's a very busy pub during the holiday season. Excellent St Austell ales on draft. Looking forward to returning next autumn.
A stop for lunch in this idyllic place where it's lovely to wander through town and soak up the beautiful harbour and stunning views. Lunch was superb, plenty of it, amazing chips and burgers just like my Mum used to make which brought back wonderful memories. Helpful staff. Highly recommended.
A place that feels homey and comfortable. Staff friendly and dogs made very welcome. Lunch was had here several times as well as a cream tea which I’m told was great. Outdoor space is also excellent. Not to be missed!
Food was overpriced and meager and the service was scattered and unattentive. Also, the place reeked of dog/animal smell. I would recommend drinking and eating anywhere else in the town.
Lovely pub. Staff very friendly and covid safe. Unfortunately it was the worst Sunday roast i have had for a long time. It looked and tasted like it was all frozen food.
Food and service was fantastic. Will definitely go back again. Worth the drive and price.
Went here while in holiday. Had Sunday roast which was probably the best I've had. Very friendly staff. I have three dogs and the were allowed to sit by my table while I ate which was great. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend
