Only reason for 4 not 5 is the brewery owner, not the landlord, has some strange post lockdown policies, like no dogs. But it's a real pub not a bar. Sunday lunch is cracking

Excellent Sunday Lunch, much nicer than the carvery place opposite. Pity they don't serve food more days a week

Its well run, clean, and the bar staff are nice and friendly, but like every other Sam Smith's pub the rules on technology are a joke, the beer is no longer at a reasonable price, and the cherry to top it all off is that dogs are no longer allowed.

Astonished to find that prices have rocketed I was charged £5.50 for a pint bottle of own brand cider £2 increase since COVID lockdown , sorry you have just lost 4 regulars !!
