A and E can be regrettably be a shambles especially during busy times which is when I went and I wouldn’t envy anyone being there. Discharged myself after a few hours due to the monumental wait for just an x ray. Went back the following day and the staff were excellent have to thank the very helpful young female doctor and the x ray staff themselves even the reception staff who’s job you couldn’t pay me for!

Worked there for 3 months on Ward 8. And I will never work on that ward again! Some staff falsified documentation in the chamber, lied to the patients and visitors lets not forget staff deliberately putting in petty complaints and lies about other members of staff resulting in them losing their job which is what happened to me. Some of ward 8 staff are lovely and can do their job however most of them are as good as a chocolate fire guard. If you end up on that ward know that it is one of the WORST wards to be on.

Ward 6 the way you treated Paul finnerty  is absolutely  disgusting  to  tell a man with cance he was going to a nursing home to rest and then discharge took 3 weeks or more   neglected patient he fell and then passed away yesterday   I wouldn't put my dying dog god forbid in  that hosp youll have a very angry familly on your hands  ward 6 lay out is set in victoriana times its the pits

Given the hospital 1 star there are no beds and you have to wait for 24 hours at the a&e for one to be available with my dad as he's not well can't breath properly and he had to sit there for that time he's almost 70 years old and it's ridiculous sat there uncomfortable for 24 hours what in the would is going on with this place

Rather be treated anywhere but there.
