A large welcoming Club with friendly smiley staff. A warm and appreciative audience with good choice of drinks at a decent price.
Nice place nice people great prices
Stood waiting at the bar for 15 mins and the service is shocking. Quiet day no excuses for bring busy. Walked past us 3 times serve two other people before us that came after. And then got a funny remark and look after I complained about the slow service. Needs a reality and attitude check. Wouldn't advise new customers only to go for the red lion instead as you will get a pint within 5 seconds. Literally. Plus it smells like an old folks urinal
Great band, could do with some cask beer
It's a decent place it's a shame that the day I went there wasn't under happier circumstances the staff are friendly and the brandy is good I love a great night out. The time I went there was for a Wake after a funeral. My mate Damo used to love to go in for a drink and He told Me all about it
What a fantastic place my dad went in there so it was only right we held his wake there the staff were brilliant we had a great time singing and dain my dad's memory would go there again and recommend it for anyone wanting to relax and have a great time
Used to be a good club. Not so great these days. Too many bar staff and increased prices. No access to snooker room for non members. Daft members card payment system. Recently decorated poorly. May as well go to Witherspoon's.. Its cheaper.
Fantastic place , good staff and fair pricing
Cheap beer even if you arent a member. The bar staff and the locals are a fantastic bunch. Also the smoking area is of a decent size, and the heaters work
