I’m 21 and Hadn’t been in Victors for a couple of years but came back today and I definitely don’t regret it, Alan still remembered me, still had good patter and still gave a class haircut - would definitely recommend to any guys looking for a quality trim for a great price from a couple of sound guysServices: Fade cut
You've watched the Italian movie where two of the main characters meet in a barbers shop to discuss business, family, the horses and "shoot the breeze" - it's care worn, clean, tidy, and comfortable. The radio plays a mixture of instantly forgetable songs, and if there is aTV it is showing an obscure Italian non league team you've probably never heard of playing on an astonishingly sunny day sometime in the laye 90s ... The big chairs are classic huge traditional red leather and chrome, the barber shop staff are as timeless as the shop - they make you feel as well as look good. The world is their lobster and they will chat and cut armed with scissors, clippers and an encyclopedic knowledge on the news and views of the day. Once like pubs these were found on seemingly almost every street corner, they were a Glasgow institution, these were the haunt of burly workies in a rush and schoolboys dragged in by harrassed parents in a strip... Vezza is as timeless as Dr Who's TARDIS, the cone on The Duke of Wellington statue, and meeting "yur date" at shell in Central station ... go, enjoy, chat, soak up the atmosphere, and get a traditional real hair cut. Highly recommended
Local institution and top class barbers for all ages. Sound group of guys with great prices. Highly recommend
Best bit is the price. £10.50 for a short back and sides. Alan did a better job that places charging £20.Service: Scissor cut
Always get my hair cut here, the barbers are top notch and the price is fair.
Great, friendly barbers would highly recommend.
Traditional barbers, no frills no gimicks, no nonsense, they talk football, have radio/tv on in the background and cut hair ... it's a genuine bloke place - what more could you want? A cut above the rest for £9, "winner, winner, chicken dinner" - gorra love it
Very good doing my hair cuts, in staff workers. Prices gone up now, £8. Last year prices was £7. Because shops was shutdown in viruses, last 6 mths ago.
This is probably the last barber in Shawlands that hasn't gone all hipster, which means that you can actually afford to get your hair cut there. A traditional barber shop, no appointments, you walk in and sit on the bench until it's your turn. Clippers and simple haircuts are the order of the day. It's relatively simple and inexpensive. Unfortunately it's also not the cleanest barber shop I've ever been in to, with the discipline for cleaning up the cut hair on the floor - and other flat surfaces - pretty lax, and I did once have to queue for about 45 minutes on a weekend because only one barber was in. The decor is a bit tired, but ultimately if all you want is a quick trim without breaking the bank, this place will do.
Brilliant haircut and friendly service by very experienced barber. Will defo be back!Services: Curly hair
