Really horrendous service, not regard for people. No respect for your time. Power tripping staff. Expect to be called to your appointment 2-4 hours later even if you turn up 15 mins early.nnVFS seriously need to think about reorganising and better staff training.nnAgree with all the 1 reviews here. Unfortunately this awful service is unavoidable if you need to use one of the services. A system that represents High Commission of India should really perform better.
I used their services for my surrender certificate. Everything went smoothly. The staff were professional. The office itself needs modernisation. I felt it’s not upto standard of a global company like VFS. Also the facilities inside are quite poor. This was the worst VFS centre of all the ones I have seen so far.
Last week we went for the renewal of our passports, we were unaware of the exact process the staff were very helpful and one Mr. Vijay and his team members coordinated, team was very friendly walked us through the process and very patiently dealt with our case by offering us the Helpdesk computer to make changes to our application and corrections.nnWe appreciate the team for their excellent customer service and warm friendly attitude towards the public.nnWe wish all staff members a happy new year and thank each one them for all their hardworking efforts, sincerely helping citizens and residents have a hassle free travel experience overseas.nnWell Done …..Kudos!!! keep up the good work standards.nnWe are giving. 4.5 rating and keeping the .5 as a scope of improvement as any service would always need an improvement with changing times.nn
We booked timed appointment online as it says. The time was given from 10am to 10:30am. We arrived on time only to be told to take out the token number and sit and wait your number turn. What is the point of booking online if anyway you will sit hour or more waiting for your turn?nWhat if person is planing their day according to the timing given? Not everyone has time to sit and wait this long.nIf there is no point for online booking, why then do it? Could inform on site the system of waiting so people can plan day accordingly and have more time. Disappointing.
My experience at this centre was really good. I was served by chamanpreet, very polite and helpful person. He answered all the queries.nIf you surrendering your Indian passport below documents are required.n1. Appointment confirmation lettern2. Photo x 1 on the form.n3. Bring British passport & naturalisation certificate original along with photocopies. They will see and return back originals.n4. Original & photocopy of your Indian passport along with the pages got stamped for any visa. Non- blank pagesn5. Pay fee for the service and the Courier.nnTimescales 1-2 weeks for the surrender certificate to get issued and posted at your home address.
