A lovely park with wonderful sights, the benches are very nice to sit in on a hot sunny day! The stairs are quite steep but that's okay, it's still a wonderful place. the fountain is nice to see but it's not got too much water in it, maybe that's the weather though

Nice place for a short walk ,it’s a nice park and clean.
I was very interested to learn about the history of this grade 2 listed park. The photos were good but many of the signs are now hard to read due to age. Loved the beautiful mature trees . Well maintained . The stone path was very slippery under the trees so be careful if you go down there.
Spent a nice sunny Sunday morning here and had a really good time. Our dog was absolutely enjoying the space! We unfortunately didn't find an accessible path down to the river so that was a disappointment, but I'm hoping to be able to go down to the river the next time around.nDefinitely recommend a visit to the park. It's very well kept and serene.
