Very conveniently located for old Shanklin, or to walk up the Main Street and head into the other bits of town. Quite a few spaces but gets very busy and congested at times. That’s not the car parks fault however. Decent surface with no real potholes or issues. Well maintained with nice greenery.
Good convenient car park for the old village or walking down the chine After 6pm in the evening only £2 for all night parking until 8am the following day
Very expensive, a little walk from the main townnEasier to find on street parking else where or park a little way up
Visit to the island for some Christmas shopping not a cheap option but we do love to visit. Parking did spoil our fun though thought we would walk round the small shops in shanklin, quickly changed our minds when we got to the carpark it's now £4.10 for 1 -2 hours it's now unlikely we will be visiting this area again. So sorry to the small traders that are unlikely to survive. We did have a great time on the island but will infuture only be visiting the traders that have onsite free or reasonable priced parking.
We have a Motorhome and after reading the board in the carpark it states that we can park in oversize or coach baynNo oversize space there do duly parked in coach bay and paid for 2 hours £4.10 as it’s didn’t say that we needed to pay morenCame back to find parking ticket on our screenn£70 or £35 if paid within 14 daysnFeel an email coming innBe careful fellow Motorhome owners
