Friendly, helpful staff. Good range of timber carried in stock with a free cutting service. The material I have bought is extremely durable - not one split. They also carry the Reisser wood screws in stock. Will definitely be buying from here again.
Excellent service from their Trex composite decking expert Nigel, very good price for their "Rocky Harbour" Trex decking Verdons supplied all of the necessary fixings and Nigel advised how much 5"x 2" wood and posts we needed and he was 100% accurate. Brought the lot from Verdons and was very happy. Now my one stop shop for all things timber related .
Another good experience, Alfonzo was so helpful and polite, nothing was to much trouble. Served me with a smile as did the gentlemen in the reception area. Would highly recommend this Timber yard. I won't be going anywhere else.
Im so impressed on the way they are dealing with covid 19! This place deserves a hold medal! You are let into the compound in small Manageable numbers where you can maintain a good distance from outgrew. Your order is taken from your car window so you don't need to get out and risk infecting outhers. Your order is then delivered straight to your car for you to load up, and payment is given on a one to one basis in the shop. This is an amazingly simple but effective system that I with other retailers would adopt. For the inconvenience of waiting 10 minutes to get in, I get to live another day knowing I didn't catch anything here! Also, as this is a review, the staff are great, friendly and helpful, they cut my roof to the exact size I asked for. The timber was straight and of his quality so I will of course be coming back again in the near future. Thanks guys for a safe and constructive visit! Wrll done! 6 STARS!
