Absolutely loved the Taste of Sicily wine tasting experience, the wine was gorgeous and the food as delicious. The experience was really made by our lovely server Lucia who made our night really special by explaining about all the wines in detail and answering our questions. We had such a special night celebrating our anniversary, thank you so much! Highly recommend this experience for something a little different but so enjoyable.
Amazing place!!! I was with my wife and enjoyed our date at this lovely restaurant. We are in love in Italy and Italian food so I believe we found our piece of Italy situated in Leeds :. Staff was helpful, we had a conversation in Italian with the waiter Lucia so she helped us to feel better the Italian vibes. She was very nice. It was special from start to finish. For who like coffee, I recommend to try Espresso al pistachio. This is masterpiece!!! We will definitely be back again as there is a lot to try and enjoy.
Went as a result of my son buying my partner and I a virgin experience wine and food deal. The food was superb and the accompanying wine exceptional. But what made the night so special was the attention made by Mary our waitress to ensure that we had the best experience possible. I cannot express in words the exceptional service Mary gave to us. It was a joy talking to her not only how she explained how the food and wine complimented each other but away from this general chit chat which made us feel so special. She was a credit to Veeno and will ensure that we visit again in the near future.
A wonderful bar for wine obviously near the canal. We went in the afternoon for the food pairing experience and very much enjoyed it, the food was of good quality and the wine selections very much complimented them. We were explained very thoroughly the origin of the wines and reasons for the selected food pairing. Everyone was bright and cheerful which added to the experience, and I'd definitely return again if I was in the area. Recommended!
We were given a gift for a wine and food pairing experience. It was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted by Ryan with a big welcoming smile, shown to our table and was given the option of having a drink first or starting our experience, we opted for a drink as the cocktails were buy 1 get 1 free. 2 long island teas for £8.50 can't go wrong. Ryan brought the food and 4 glasses of wines each and explained that the wines were exclusive to Veenos from their own vineyard in Sicily, she told us all about each wine in detail and which food complimented each wine. She was extremely knowledgeable and so passionate about both the food and wine. The food and wines were to the highest standard. We can highly recommend Veenos for food, wine and service and we will definitely be back.
Great place to go with friends! Atmosphere is extremely pleasant, the weather was great so we sat outside. The service is impeccable... Staff very helpful and attentive. We all had a really great time and the food was delicious. We had parma & buffalo pizza for sure worth to try and also did the Wine & Nibbles experience. If you like wine I would recommend do the experience! Everything was so tasty and staff was great explaining the whole experience. I will definitely be back soon to try more dishes.
The taste of Sicily experience was superb, i would definitely recommend you try it . The staff are very friendly and welcoming and explain the wine and food pairing thoroughly. A special treat indeed !!
Excellent last minute choice on a Tuesday for dinner in Leeds, Callum, Kieran front of house and Balaz kitchen gave us excellent service and really lovely food. We’ve had the Sicilian tasting experience at Veeno before and loved it and at thee old Leeds location years ago we had a sharing board and wine! but thought we’d try something more substantial for dinner. The pizzas were really something - as a waitress of a decade in various local owned and large chain… Italian restaurants who is also partial to a pizza, I’ve eaten a pizza or two in my time and from the dough to the fresh pizza sauce to the excellent but simple use of toppings - it was truly something special from the first bite. Being extremely honest….I’m pretty sure I ate more than my own half of the two we shared because I was enjoying myself so much…. Would be back again and a lovely touch was the wine offer at £3.50 a glass mid-week - we will be back!
Lovely location away from the hustle bustle of city centre warm welcome friendly staff we had afternoon tea which was different in delicious way food was well presented, elequent absolutely recommend coming here again Megan/ Connie was lovely friendly smiley girls also the assistant manager Christof is friendly & professional so in short if you want to have afternoon tea with a twist this is an absolute must !!!
My husband and I visited on 28th January as we had been gifted a dining for 2 Virgin experience as a wedding gift and it did not disappoint! We were looked after by Mary who was wonderful, she was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and as I'm pregnant they actually did an additional platter to accommodate me as I was not allowed to eat some of the meats included in the meal on the voucher - we thought this was very sweet! The drinks were beautiful, they had a great choice of mocktails and my husband loved the wine! We will be back. Thank you so much, Mary
