VB is great!nIf you are looking for Indian ingredients. You will find it there!nWhen I go there I buy beans! Their variety is great and the price is better than other ethnic food shops. Peanuts also very well priced. Special XXL long grain rice… basmati and Biryanis.nThey have a lot of staff stocking all they long!nIt’s always busy on Saturday and Sunday. Specially close to Diwali as they sell fireworks and celebratory items.nThe only thing I don’t like there is their exit doors. No harm though.nVisiting VB is a cultural experience. Imagine you’re in India!
VB used to good for shopping earlier but lately it’s become more expensive and the staff is very rude. I used to buy my regular stuff from there and yesterday I went there to but some fireworks the staff was very rude as if they are doing a favour selling it to us. I was so angry and went to other shop to find out that I got the same fire work for much lesser price than what this shop was selling. I think it time to stop buying from this shop
I bought indian laddu for my baby when I came home then open the packet this was very malted not good for baby. So i went VB&sons and inform to staff. The staff told me it is okay they didn't get refund. How can i gave malted food to my baby. So i requested but staff not agree. The staff is very rude.
It’s good you can find a lot of food and stuff to make but they keep making there price go up and sometimes they don’t have the things and say we don’t sell tomatoes but sell other vegetables
The staff have no manners and treat their customers like livestock. It’s like being a third world cesspit in the middle of London. You are transported back in time and you think you are in 1970s India.nnFloor littered with boxes, shelves half empty, tills from the 1970s, staff not wearing uniform or badges, health and safety non existent.
