Lovely restaurant, fantastic food and great atmosphere. Loads of choice on the menu and food is so tasty. We will definitely come here again when we are staying at the hotel. Highly recommend it if you like good food. Absolutely incredible

Excellent asian restaurant near the Sofitel at Gatwick. We had the set menu and all the dishes were well cooked with good ingredients and portion sizes. The sizzling seafood platter was especially tasty. Service was quick. Not cheap but still good value in view of the quality of food and the location and ambiance.

Great food, lovely atmosphere, a bit pricey.

Starters were ok. Vegetable spring rolls very tasty and crispy and well presented. Fried squid was good. The mains were a big let down. Fillet of beef Cantonese style was a bit too vinegary. Vegetarian Malaysian curry just tasted of curry powder and needed a bit of sweetness and salt. Overall; nice decor and presentation. However dishes were not balanced well and totally overpriced for the quality.

Getting in late to the Sofitel Gatwick, I managed to get to Vanda shortly before the kitchen closed. Quickly ordering, my food appeared rapidly, which was a welcome sight for this hungry traveller. Coupled with a good glass of wine, the food isn't anything spectacular, however for Chinese food in London, I was most pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my meal quite thoroughly. For a hotel restaurant late at night, It was a most delicious meal

Nice food. Massively let down by the service we had 6 set menus which should be pretty straight forward but took nearly 2:15 to serve 3 course took so long for each course to come we gave up on pudding and left. For the restaurants largest table most profitable and it being so far from the kitchen/waiters it really lack quality quick service. Also the waiters never checked if we had enough to drink.

Great Asian style restaurant with a good menu, it is now called Vanda and it is located in the Sofitel, not north terminal. The food is delicious and the service is quick and friendly.

Ignore all of the negative reviews about price or service. This place has delicious food at albeit, slightly higher prices which is not atypical of airport food prices. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful with respect to the menu and can provide useful recommendations. Try it before you knock it.
