Amazing! Had a three course meal and every single one lived up to the last. Highly recommend this place and will be visiting often! Just glad they don't do delivery as I may have been ordering far too regularly and would miss out on the lovely atmosphere and staff. Can not fault this restaurant one bit! First review I've ever written and is only being done because of how impressive it was!
Excellent food & first class service We dined at Vanchino's restaurant on Saturday night. The host was welcoming and friendly, the service was great and the food was excellent. The restaurant had a really nice vibe about it and we all loved the food we ordered. I'd recommend it to anyone.
It was lovely food, nice ambience and great service from the friendly staff. The place has a nice feel to it and is run by a family who make you feel very welcome.... The sirloin steak I have had there on a few occasions has always been absolutely gorgeous....very tasty and fresh....better than any steaks that I have had in a steakhouse....I also had the calamari for starter which was also really nice and the home made chocolate fudge cake which was also really nice...I would definitely recommend....and go back there again....
Went for lunch with my wife after she had dinner at Vanchino's with her friends earlier in the year and had a good experience. Ordered calamari as a starter - dish came out amazingly quickly - thought this was a by-product of us being the only patrons there at the time. WORST calamari I ever had - breading was totally bland and calamari was over cooked and super rubbery. Sent the dish back, only to have the waitress tell us that she tried our dish and "it was cooked perfectly, you must be used to frozen calamari which most restaurants use, we use only fresh calamari". I was stunned by the audacity of the waitress. My wife and myself very much enjoy calamari and it is a usual dish we order, but never had such a poor version of it. The mains were not very nice at all. Overall the food and service/attitude was very poor.
Perfect location before visiting Harry Potter studios. Food their own pasta recipes was delicious! Lovely warm christmassy atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. Thoroughly recommend.
