It was interesting I would say. Not much to see, but you can chill for an hour there under beautiful stars and peaceful music laying in the chair. There were not too many visitors so it was a peaceful visit. Also, if you want to experience the VR you need to pay extra 3£ and, unfortunately, if you're wearing glasses you have to take them off because they couldn't fit under VR glasses just like in my case. Because of that my sight was poor and I couldn't fully immerse into that experience. But you can try it once
The exhibition provided a comprehensive narrative of Van Gogh's life and artistic journey. Various rooms showcased representations of his most iconic paintings, offering an engaging and immersive experience. The VR segment, lasting approximately 5-10 minutes, featured a 360-degree video that allowed visitors to step into a world inspired by his most famous works. Before exiting, guests entered a stunning space where walls and floors were illuminated with dynamic projections, creating a mesmerising atmosphere that truly captured the essence of Van Gogh's eclectic life.
Excellent exhibition about the painter with explanations about his life and work. An interesting room for projection and animation of his work. Also an experience with virtual reality. And a painting room where visitors can colour in photocopies. It has a section where souvenirs can be purchased. Highly recommended exhibition.
Blown away by Van Gogh.nLove every minute and all the experience.nThere is also VR where you can watch like virtual reality by paying extra 3pounds.nYou can paint with crayons and there is a room for that.nI was hesitant previously to go there for the price.But worth it and love it.nThey have discount for disable /elder people and NHS.
Very expensive for what it offers. Unfortunately, we did not get our tickets online but the lady at the counter could have told us to buy them through the internet on the spot. For 3 adult tickets, we paid over £82 or around €120. Yikes! Plenty of stairs to climb and uneven floors to watch out so be warned if your knees are failing and your balance is off. One thing I learned though is that Van Gogh has 11 paintings of sunflowers. Hardly worth that much money if only I took the time to read his work online for free. Otherwise, the interactive room is a fresh touch but lounging chairs were all occupied so you have to sit stiffly on picnic benches while gazing at the ceiling. Lastly, you can color the works of Vincent on pre-printed paper and upload it on their site. A bit tacky IMO for adults but fun for kids.
