There are some lovely gardens and a play area. This summer there are also sun loungers and performances which looks like lots of fun. We particularly liked the fairies and wood structures and the view across the mersey.
Great place for entertainment in summertime. Also the fairy garden which children and adults love. The cafe is reasonably priced and great tea or coffee. Chairs and tables inside and out. The 5 new toilets are immaculately clean too. Well worth a visit. Wheelchair friendly but it is a bit hilly but manageable.
This is a lovely little park which me and my husband always visit when we're over in New Brighton. There is a little cafe which is very popular which has seating outside too when the weather is a bit warmer.
What a beauriful well kept park. Fairy garden is magical.bandstand area was lovely right by the beach also. A must visit for anyone. Playground: Lovely park for kids Restrooms: Toilets and cafe available Dog-friendliness: Lots of people with animals there Picnic area: Lots of little gardens sit in
Vale park is excellent for everyone,it has every amenities you could wish for even for people with disabilities, love nature, love people great views wonderful gardens some that are peaceful for you and your thoughts,a gentleman called Major develops structural pieces of interest, and volunteers help with the maintenance and l could go on and on superb place all free Thankyou.
Lovely cafe and lovely kept gardens lots of fun driftwood exhibits scattered around nice path walking areas kiddies playground and pavilion for music
Great park, a fairies wonderland is really impressive and kids love it. I also recommend the park's cafe, a really good and friendly service, reasonably priced and what's more a very good selection of vegan ice cream flavours kept in a separate freezer which really keeps it safe from contamination One year on and all above applies, even more vegan flavours on offer, Only downside chips aren't suitable for vegan as cooked in same oil as chicken nuggets. Would be nice if cafe owner could invest in a separate frier
Possibly one of the best parks in the country, it has the fairy garden, which is items created by local people made out of driftwood / wood / old toys. There is a band stand which hosts regular music / dancing events for free during the summer months with lawn chairs to sit and watch. Great views from the bottom of park over to the world famous Liverpool skyline, beautifully maintained gardens and trees and a cafe which sells coffees/teas/ soft drinks / ice creams and cake. Perfect place for children and adults alike.
Beautiful place to walk alone, with the kids, or dogs! Beautifully laid out with benches all around. Amazing fairy garden. Large park for the children gated in, Big fields Beautiful memorial that is well respected with no animals allowed inside. Playground: Very big playground for children all ages. Gated all around. Restrooms: Public restrooms have always been very clean and tidy when I have visited with my child & foster children. Picnic area: Picnic benches darted all around Vale park. Plenty of grass space to lay a blanket down.
Filled with lots of 's plus there's a café for food & refreshments & more importantly ice creams. Vale Park is situated on a steep hill that runs all the way down to the promenade & the River Mersey . And so it offers great panoramic views across the river as you get into the lower half of the park. This is also were you'll find the bandstand which hosts concerts & performance's in the summertime . Just behind the bandstand you'll find there's a statue of Betty a seal-lion who would come up into the park from the river in Victoria times, to be fed by the local children ‍‍ on a daily basis...'now that must have been something to see & experience back then & no-wonder she's so fondly remembered in these parts with her very own statue"
