Huge piece of beer battered cod was delicious as were the home cut chips! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, proper locals pub but made to feel welcome, bit of banter as England has just lost to Scotland in the rugby... Chocolate brownie with salted caramel was amazing, the sticky toffee pudding was huge with lashings of butterscotch sauce, just gutted that this is not local to me in London!!!

Good Sunday lunch in a traditional, historical pub. Good parking. Efficient and friendly service. Evening meals served most days. Booking advised.
