I was given a course for Christmas and having left it until the last minute to book, I called Bod to talk about options. In the end I opted to upgrade my voucher for a full day deer butchery course. What a day it was. Nothing was over the top, overly serious, overtly silly, or rushed. It was a brilliant balance of two excellent hosts Bod and Steven, who engaged and involved us in the process of preparing a deer carcass in an accessible but also precise manner. It's hard to articulate quite how good it was.  Cooking was top notch and the end result was a fantastic day with a great group of people, delicious food, and a new found motivation to prepare and eat more of the natural produce this country has to offer. Thank you very much indeed for a proper 'experience'.

Outstanding, did the pheasant shoot and cook and was top notch all round.

I went on the Curing and Smoking Course and it was a wonderful day out.  The location and facilities are of the very best and the hosts are welcoming, friendly and fun.  The expert tuition from Steve Lamb really ignited my desire to try out what I had learned and I was also able to taste some wonderful food.  A real 'hands on' day that has given me an exciting new hobby that I shall be able to explore and develop.  Thanks, Bod and all of your team!

What a wonderful day we had on their foraging course! They brought in a local expert, who took us out on a rambling walk around the countryside, educating us on what to eat and what not to! and we gathered stuff to take back and cook with later on. Foraging and cooking all in one, and we got to eat it all too! The staff were amazing, and welcomed us into their home. I can't recommend this place highly enough...
