Can't rate this place highly enough. Staff are really talented and the only place that's ever been able to dry my hair without requiring straighteners to finish the job and my colour is always done to perfection. It's a quirky palace, with little pet pooches, wardrobes and dressing tables, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Fab free hot drinks. They tell stories of festivals they cater for and maintain discretion about the stars that sometines even turn up in salon. Fair prices for the magic they work. Jolene does my hair, but my wedding 'do' and bridesmaids 'do's' were also done by the salon. You can get your nails and aesthetics also done here. Highly highly recommended.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The salon was gorgeous. Georgia gave me a whole new look and she was so chatty and informative when cutting/styling. I absolutely love my new pixie cut! Everyone was very kind and welcoming. The French press coffee was particularly lovely and I adored the little pup scurrying about the salon - it made the wait a pleasure! Can't wait to return; I've got a feeling that this place is going to become my staple hairdressers.
I have had previous mixed experiences at this salon during my uni years. Decided to give them another try 5 years on from previous visits, but they were unaccommodating which was unfortunately expected for such a salon as Vain. Shame that with these hipster salons, comes the inevitable exclusivity resulting in snooty service. They live up to their namesake, so you've got to give them that!
Visited Vain for the first time today, Georgia and Billie were amazing and such a great vibe inside. So pleased with my post-lockdown hair ‍ would highly recommend and I'll definitely be back!
