Very clean and most important is that they are passionate about their animals. I went to many other pet store but never felt comfortable buying an animal because they were in dirty cages and many didn't look healthy. It was a little pricey than the other stores but I prefer trusting the store than the price. Will definitely go back for supplies.

My wife and I went to pets XTRA after a few messages back and fourth regarding parrotlets. Upon visiting pets XTRA the lady is clearly very knowledgeable and the birds are in a very healthy condition. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this business all day long. Thanks for 2 lovely birdies.

Excellent independent pet shop.  The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, would definitely recommend especially for anyone looking to purchase a bird.

Excellent little independent family run pet shop. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of animal care and welfare. For a small shop it always amazes me the amount of stock they manage to fit in! The added bonus is the livestock that they sell, it is always healthy and cared for on a personal level ensuring  they are safe for any home. As a family business it is nice that they bring their own pets into the shop. Just ask about their parrot, he is stunning and my husbands best friend. I cannot recommend this shop enough, from the live feed fresh twice a week to the knowledge of animal welfare. Well worth a visit.

The best pet shop I’ve ever been to the staff are really nice friendly helpful people who know what they are talking about and are always happy to help. The prices are reasonable and the birds are beautiful including my mini macaw who I got from them. Would definitely recommend this pet shop to anyone. Go and have a visit and see for your self.

Brilliant. Got our bearded dragon there and always get the live food every week. Best lizard and bird stuff anywhere in Harlow.  Lizard live food is bred there and can't be any fresher. The birds are all tame and are stunning.  Don't go to any other pet shop as these guys are cheaper and the quality is far superior to anyone else round here.

Omg. What a lovely pet store. Excellent prices and a great range of products. So happy it's on my doorstep. Love going in to see all the birds and animals for sale too. Lovely staff, always willing to help and know what they are talking about

I bought a amel corn snake a couple months ago and would like to say another thank you, he has shed twice since I've had him, eating well, pooping well, also moving him to a vivarium soon, would also like to say the staff are a great help, very supportive Would definitely recommend Pets Xtra awesome store!

Great place if you have birds.having a refit with more stuff for other animals.very good staff trained well in all sorts of bird things.all animal lovers too.it is a happy shop.worth a visit at least once.

Love this shop best pet shop in town ever wouldn't use any other,fantastic selection of livestock and products,helpful friendly owners and staff,always have what I need,and not far to get to
