Visited tonight 27/07/24, food was excellent and the manager provided us with a really good service. Unfortunately, we were rushed by one server. She had forgotten our coffees, and when we informed her she did not offer to get them and instead provided an amended bill. She also rushed us frequently to order, and overall she seemed uninterested and unwelcoming.
The restaurant is very good, service is wonderful and very helpful. I had sushi - chef platter and sashimi. I don’t like the taste and texture of sushi. I am a sushi lover but this sushi does not make me happy. It is very pricey for the portion size.
Usually an excellent restaurant but last night they only had a limited menu because of some issues in the kitchen. Maybe call your bookings so they could have a choice of changing their bookings. Myself and my Fiancee travelled a fair distance to the restaurant so turning back hungry wasn't an option but a call from Vincent's earlier in the day would have been appreciated. The food we did choose last night was excellent as usual Vegetarian options: I'd rather not because I'm not a vegetarian Kid-friendliness: They let them in
We had an excellent meal in a vast but attractive dining room. The menu is varied with something for everyone. Excellent service. Good value but not cheap!Food: 5/5
Myself & my husband had dinner here on 8/8/2024 Friday & it was delicious We had Scallops- Duck Spring Roll /Fillet Steak- Lamb Rump / Sticky toffee pudding with biscoff sauce x2 The restaurant was spotless & it had a warm atmosphere & friendly staff I'm in a mobility scooter & it has a disabled toilet & the restaurants access was trouble free We were staying over at a different hotel for leisure & I'm glad I booked I knew it's reputation after staying & dinning there a few years ago & we'll definitely be back Thanks to all the staff at The Vincent Hotel & Restaurant
As usual, we had a good dinner here in very convivial surroundings. Food is well cooked and presented. A fairly small menu, with solid favourites that are great to come back to. While not cheap, it represents good value
Fabulous food and the flavours were absolutely amazing! Wine was very crisp and fresh. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be visiting again.Food: 5/5
Excellent service, booked a table in the pacific restaurant in the back, great atmosphere, excellent mood, couldn’t fault food or service, quite pricey but you get what you pay for - Thankyou for excellent family experience accommodating our little girl during post lockdown Christmas visit
Really fantastic place with an eclectic menu including Tom Yum, sushi and pulled pork as well as British classics. I ordered the Mexican burger which was beautifully prepared though not particularly Mexican. If it were up to me, I might get rid of the pancetta and lettuce and add avocado and a small amount of thinly shredded cabbage. I might also add a hint of cumin and cilantro to the burger. The caramelized onions were delicious but again not very Mexican. Maybe pickled purple onions -- or lightly grilled -- would be nice and more Mexican. The double-cooked chips were excellent and the service was quiet, friendly and welcoming. Exceptional.
The staff are amazing and service was great, food was agreeable but it was better the last time I visited. I hope that the staff get paid well considering the pricing vs quality of food ratio.Food: 3/5
