Called here fri evening 6pm & the place was virtually empty. Poppadoms arrived within a minute, quite standard fayre, the pickles were the minimum in quality, quantity & variety. Chicken puree starter was different, the chicken wasn't in a mild curry sauce as is the norm, but still tasted decent. The 3 'lamb' chop starter was awful, the meat was not fresh, 60% of this dish was uneaten. The main of saag ghost upon ordering I clarified that it was lamb was truly ghastly, the 'lamb' was inedible, 95%of this dish was left. The chicken tika main, chicken dry, rice barely warmslightly worrying if reheated the medium curry sauce was tasty, we shared this one dish. Garlic naan bread had a piece of unmelted garlic butter in the middle & was average. Chapati OK though quite thick and dense. After the table was cleared we were given the mandatory hot towel and not asked if would like to see the desert menu. I caught the eye of two staff over the next ten minutes but non arrived at our table. We therefore approached the bar & paid our bill at a fraction over £50 which included two cobra & a diet coke. Whilst the staff were friendly and polite they at no point asked if our food was OK. Even more shocking is that there is no correlation between staff and chefs.... There are large quantities of uneaten food going back into their kitchen and this didn't ring alarm bells, basic golden rules. We left very disappointed and I hungry.

Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere when we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. Pretty lighting too. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive after ordering, it was all lovely and hot as in warm when it came to the table. Everything we ate was so tasty, especially the peshwari naan, very moreish. We finished off with coffee liquor. Nothing at all to complain about. We will most be diffinatly be returning.
Very disappointing. After being out of the uk for some time I thought that I would order takeout from what was once my favourite Indian in East Lancashire. However, I was left extremely disappointed and underwhelmed. The mixed kebab consisted of 6 mini onion bhajis and two chicken wings…this is not my definition of a mixed kebab. The curry was okay but nothing special. Used to be so much better.
Never had a bad meal at Usha. Came on Christmas Eve with family & friends. Lovely meal and they always look after you
Fantastic food, great atmosphere. This was really really busy when we went on Saturday night, with a few large parties. We were shown straight to our table, drinks brought in a timely manner. I ordered one popadom with chutney tray as partner "doesn't do Indian food". He was brought his fried chicken and chips to eat while I was on my starter. They gave me an extra popadom free of charge so I made my partner try it with onions on, he did but wasn't impressed. My Chicken Dansak came shortly afterwards. Again my partner tried a bit of my garlic naan dipped in my curry, but again preferred his meal. I however thought my curry was beautiful. As it was busy after our main meal we were kind of abandoned. No desert menu brought to us, or any offers of coffee or further drinks. But we sat chatting and after about 40 minutes decided it was time to go. I waved at a waiter who did then come over and I requested the bill. Less than £20 per head, so very happy with that. They have a large car park around the back which is very handy.
Just had a take away tea from here and have to say the food was excellent. 10 out of 10 and will be ordering again. Thank you ushaFood: 5/5
Absolutely fantastic. Cannot fault anything. Always Accommodating, the food is fantastic. Staff are friendly and polite. The atmosphere is welcoming.
Went for their Sunday buffet. You get to choose from a selection of main meals. I had mixed masala which TBH had a lot food colouring but lacked flavour. The day we visited the weather was appalling and the conservatory was out of action due to leaks. Also, it seemed like the main heating was out of action as portable gas heaters were in use - these heaters do have a gassy smell. All in all the food was hot on a cold winters day, so hit the spot all at a reasonable price for what you get. Would we go again? I’m afraid not, in preference it’s the Agra for us - sorry.
Was really good, had the Sunday buffet, which was a menu where you choose which main meal you'd like. Good value for price. Very busy. Efficient staff.
