Really lovely and bright spot in the JQ. Great for people watching and remote working with some delicious although slightly expensive food items. Lovely friendly staff and very relaxed vibe with some cheerful dogs warming up every visit!
The food and coffee mostly hit the mark, but inconsistent service can really affect the overall experience. That can be a bummer, especially if you’re enjoying the flavors but the wait time or attentiveness isn't quite there, there is always room for better customer service!Food: 4/5
We came in for a late brunch. Now we ordered 2 veggie breakfasts, pancakes with maple syrup, 2 extra toast and 2 drinks total £58, personally thats very expensive . Our breakfast were very very poor in flavour, also I had to send mine back as I found hair in the mushrooms. Pancakes was very hard, home made beans was awful lacked flavour. Waited like 50minutes for our breakfast to arrive. When I sent my breakfast back because of the hair at this point I lost my appetite, as we had a pushchair with us, the waitress served hot food over the pushchair with our child in, which annoyed me very much, careless of her to do this. I was offered bottle drinks as a complementary gesture. Experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately will not be returning anytime soon.
Managed to find a table on a busy Saturday lunchtime. I chose the Cypriot Eggs Bennie and my son loved his dark chocolate and blood orange pancakes. My husband went for the Halloumi and Avo Bap. As there was a chai latte on the menu, I naturally had this and really enjoyed it. Good menu and would visit again to try out other dishes on it
Nobody is perfect but this comes close. Warm atmosphere. Quietly bustling. Dog friendly. Toilets available too. Wonderful
This place is very cute and cosy with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We go there for coffee every time we are in jewellery quarter, it’s a bit overpriced though.Food: 4/5
Truly delicious food! The classic bennie and the hash were amazing! Probably coming back to Birmingham just to eat here. Staff are friendly and the location and atmosphere are great. Vegetarian options: Loads of veggie/vegan options Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access
I recently had breakfast here, and unfortunately, it was not worth the £26 price. The service was disappointing, as our waitress seemed rude and dismissive. After waiting for 45 minutes, we politely inquired about our food, only to receive a sharp response that it would “be along in a minute,” paired with a sarcastic smile. When our meals finally arrived 15 minutes later, the quality was underwhelming, especially given the £18 price tag for a basic fry-up. The food was lukewarm, the eggs were overcooked, along with the hash-browns. Overall, this experience fell far short of expectations, both in terms of service and food quality. I wouldn’t recommend dining here, as it simply wasn’t worth the high cost.
Was my first time here and went in for brunch on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Nice location with outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating too. It has some vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. We went for the vegan breakfast and vegan brioche bap with a flat white coffee and blueberry smoothie. We waited around 25-30 minutes for the food to come out and it was average in my opinion. The bill was £33.10 which I thought is a bit pricey considering the food was sub-par. Not somewhere I would make a regular visit to for brunch. Parking: On street paid parking or you can park in the Jewellery Quarter car park which is probably a 5 minute walk away.
I love to come to this place for some eggs and coffee. I love the freedom the atmosphere provides to do some laptop work and the staff is really friendly!Food: 5/5
