Stayed at the hideaway in July. Been here a few times. It is under new ownership now and has been updated. Very clean and comfortable. Its a lovely cottage in a very peaceful setting, tucked away. Has everything you need although would have liked a proper freezer rather than just an ice box in the fridge. Otherwise perfect. Hope to go back but as our dog is getting older really want to be able to take him with us and unfortunately no dogs allowed so sadly for our next break we have booked a cottage on the island that allows dogs.
Booked this through VBRO, NEVER USED THE APP BEFORE, simple to use easy to book,and the level of service and communication provided by Jill the host was outstanding, definitely one to use again Location is Shanklin, beautiful town with loads to do and also easy to commute fromRooms: 5/5
We stayed in Foxes over the Easter break and really enjoyed our stay. We were very fortunate with the weather and had a lovely specious newly built conservatory to relax in , as well as a clean south facing private garden, over looking the chine. Our littlen loved the pool and she had good wifi connection so she was happy which is rare! Beautiful gardens surrounded us with a cute chicken! Fantastic sandy beaches nearby. Tea gardens. Pubs and Bars in the old village. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Any little problems we had they sorted out straight away. We only stayed for 4 nights over the easter break but we wish we stayed longer and didn't wanna leave on the Tuesday! Will definitely be going back over the summer! Fully recommend!
Brilliant home from home, very welcoming. Owners are really nice. Swimming pool, jacouzi and tennis court great for those fun days not venturing out. But local ammenties including shops, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets including morrisons, aldi and lidle and the beach all within walking distance. Very happy will be back again.
not really a cottage, more like a semi detached house on a housing estate.... no swimming pool even though pictures are on the website, and the pool is long gone! house was clean, warm and plenty of room
Our home from home. Have had some really happy half term holidays here. Comfortable accommodation, beautiful surroundings, friendly hosts & it's great to have the swimming pool & activities room on site.
Only my 2nd time here but couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Brilliant price and very clean & tidy.
Lovely cottages and a really great time had by all. Book them now!!
