I don't have enough words to say about my experience at this University. It was an amazing journey through which I have learned many things. Professors are amazing, knowledgeable and friendly however, I feel like their engagement is not that great. The main downside is that I couldn't see any native students in my class than international students, it would have been great if we had natives too, which helps in cultural exchange and make a wide group of connections. Apart from that, the University is beautiful and huge, it got all the facilities a student requires for the academics. Library is really good, you can have peace of mind to work on your assignments with a very good collection of journals and other books to sharpen your knowledge and prepare your assignments/research topics. They do have a huge yet beautiful park where you can walk, sit alone or hangout with your friends during free time to kill stress or have peace of mind. Trust me it feels great and really well maintained.  I haven't had a chance to make friends from the university but I could respectfully say that I feel happy and proud to spend my academic time for my master's in the University of Salford.  Things to improve -  1. Mentoring sessions: I don't find the mentoring programme tonbe very useful or helpful as it was more like rushed and made me feel like it was conducted justvas a part of the university policy. I couldn't gain anything positive from this programme.  2. No research/fun tour: It would have been much more memorable for all students who had their master's here, if the management would have conducted some study tour or a informal tour with students and professors or at least a trekking would have been great.  3. Relationship with lecturers: Lecturers are friendly and knowledgeable however, I don't think any of the lecturers know any of the students in class by name as the lectures were focussed more on clearing the subject portions/slides before the time run out, classes could have been more engaging however they have been helpful and happy to clear off doubts of students, if there were any.  4. Job fair programme: This program was not at all helpful, neither myself nor anyone who has attended gained any benefits from it. It was more like a program conducted as a part of the management. It would be great if this kind of program support students with some part time jobs with university collaboration as it can be a huge help for international students who are new tonthw country.  Apart from the above, I am happy with my experience and I will never forget my amazing experience so the above limitation are not going to take off any stars from my review. This university is truly outstanding!  The academic rigour is undeniable, presenting a challenging yet rewarding journey. One can not simply coast through; the pressure to excel is a constant companion.  Yet, the overall experience is nothing short of remarkable. Progress here demands dedication; it’s not a path for the faint-hearted. Flexibility may be offered, but it’s your commitment to education that must take precedence.   I wish you all the success on this formidable academic venture!

I really thrived at this university. The lecturers and the disability support team were outstanding. I will never forget this place. I enjoyed my lectures, strolling around Peel Park, the campuses. Their is also a convenience shop here too which is convenient. I seriously recommend coming here to study, you will have fun and will learn so much.

I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree at the University of Salford, and from my first visit, I've been impressed by the campus and overall atmosphere. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and offer a great learning environment. The staff and professors are approachable and supportive, which creates a welcoming community for students.  What I particularly enjoy is the blend of rich history and innovation, with the university focusing on practical, real-world applications of learning. The campus is well-connected, and the student life here feels vibrant, making it easy to get involved in various activities and meet new people. Don't recommend the creative MA course. The course is in the pathway I love but teaching is terrible. Programme leader hardly in. Lack of support and want to drop out. I have terrible anxiety and depression and I'm not surprised the take up on the course is low. You technically doing a masters on your own with no support. What are the teaching staff being paid for? Seems any one can be a lecturer I'm lecturing myself. The uni have let me down in many ways not just with the masters. If you want a job at the uni put your time elsewhere. I've been let down so many times. I used to love the uni and now I can't think of anything positive to say.

The University of Salford has a long history of working with the industry to get graduates career ready. It was founded in 1850, before being awarded full university status in 1967. Currently, there are 25,000 students, including 4,500 international students, enrolled across three campuses.  All of Salford's courses are informed by the industry and offer opportunities to gain real-world experience by doing placements, live projects, field trips and hearing from guest speakers. Many of their courses are accredited by top industry bodies. Students can seek out career guidance and advice from the university’s Careers and Enterprise team, which offers free support to students for life.  The university is the only institution to have a campus in MediaCity, a creative media hub, home to pioneering media start-ups and industry titans such as the BBC and ITV. Students studying at MediaCity have the opportunity to learn with industry-standard equipment, hear from expert guest speakers and collaborate with the sector. Salford is in the middle of its £2.5 billion Crescent Masterplan, and the latest part of this, the new £65 million Science, Engineering and Environment building, has opened at the heart of the University’s Peel Park campus. The new building features cutting-edge facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, which is used by the University’s engineering, science and built environment students.

Rubbish system and not very supportive.  The journey of studying has not been a pleasant at all. Lecturers were not as engaging nor they are helpful.  Dissertation - Supervisors are on annual leave but we need to meet deadlines so no feedback. furthermore, 1 month given for a dissertation not ideal at all!  Moreover, I lost my job and told them that I would pay in few months and I got told I would have to bring the balance up to date so I am not in arrears and they cannot do anything. - Again No Support

After graduating Salford Uni, I can honestly say that I’m glad I chose to go here. I made some amazing friends and the tutors I had were always kind and helpful. Always offered extensions when struggling with mental health and made sure there were outreach programs. Only 4 stars though because I started during 2020 Covid, and we spent an entire year online and still got charged £9,000 for it. There should have been a partial refund or another option for learning that isn’t just online.

Amazing university in Salford near to Manchester city. It has an amazing infrastructure, classrooms, library, student union house, Adelphy building, Champman building, Peel building, Salford canteen, Atmosphere Bar, Boat club, Cresent railway station. You will get laptops for borrowing, lot of journals, lot of textbooks etc. You can get lime electric scooters for near commute, bus station from which you can use buses by student cards, rail tickets by rail cards.even you will get monthly payment schemes for paying the tution fees7 months for pg students.

Beautiful university! I went here because of the Dragonball Z European Open Championship. The buildings are huge and just as you would imagine England. The cafeteria was great, with a kiosk that had fresh and warm bakery goods, as well as a Subway restaurant on the other side. Surely gloomy campus in the fall time, despite being directly near a main street. By foot you can get to other restaurants and shops easily. you can find more pictures on Instagram @nihonchou
