I do not recommend Lincoln University for pharmacy studies. The communication is very poor, and lectures are not recorded to aid students in their practice. All they provide are slides for revision, and that’s it.nn---
On April 4th, I applied for the CAS document by completing all my documents, despite having a sponsor, they asked for a deposit from me. Moreover, when I asked why there was a delay, they stated that they were waiting for a response from the sponsor, but when I called the sponsor office, they told me that they had not received any request from the university. The procedures are progressing very, very slowly, and the admissions office is not even responding to emails. If this continues, I will apply to other universities. TERRIBLE STUDENT RELATIONS!!!
The staff are pretty much indifferent to your situation when it comes to anything but idyllic circumstances I had to do an entire group project independently while they couldn’t be bothered enough to alter the assignment - I was not the only student in this situation. Conveniently there is no system in place should you request a remark this is literally available for GCSE exams and despite offering opportunity for feedback at the end of each module, I am sceptical whether this is just done as a courtesy and are in reality extremely dismissive of any criticism provided by students I witnessed this first hand when I provided feedback in person and was quickly asked to leave and when I brought the issue up via email the response of the school was to threaten me with sanctions. The IT department is a joke and scarcely qualified to do their jobs judging by the numerous issues I personally experience during my time for example, not being able to enrol in my third year and consequently having my - and many others - student finances delayed. The health service is also a joke assuming you’re lucky enough for them to even take your call, and they refuse to make any appointments more than a day in advance, and despite an institution supposedly staffed by doctors, they clearly weren’t bothered enough to have one employed to address students medical needs.
Avoid this University like the plague. They have been contacting my 75 year old disabled Mother for historical Unviersity fees in error and are now threatning us with a debt collection agency. They are an absoloute disgrace and their admisnistrative function is absoloutely abombicable. An awful institution.
Open day visit which was well organised, ambassador's were helpful and welcoming.nThe university campus had a pleasant feel and the courses I was interested in were well explained.
