Don’t live here!!!!!!!!nThey never put the right room number on both my parcels and my letters, although I put my room number in delivery address clearly on all of them!!!!!!!! They never apologize for their mistakes as well and even ask me to be nice to them!!!!! Why they cannot think about their mistakes and change them???nThis never happens in my previous student accommodation!!!nnAlso they never replace the broken pool table or football table with a new one in common room. They don’t put ping pong pads and balls there, with just table over there. The living quality here is really poor!!!!!nnDon’t live here!!! It’s cheaper here than other places for a reason.
EDIT 3: I finally figured out the problems. So basically, there were two groups of people making the noise. One group was the students living in the other rooms. They often had a party on weekends until very late. The second group was the people in the gym under the flat. This might not be a problem for other rooms, but for the rooms on the 1 or 2 maybe floor, this could be really terrible. The gym is open 24/7. So I could hear the noise from the gym nearly every day. This was a disaster and ruined my life! Thank god, I just lived here for a few months.nnEDIT 2: These guys come again. It seems that they have been crazy and insane. Every day and every night, they run, jump and scream both in the room and in the courtyard. I cannot stand them anymore. I have contacted the reception many many times. At first, it worked a bit, but then they didn't care about the warnings and went their own waynnEDIT 1: The staff are really nice, and helped me address this issue.nnOLD: I meet the same problem as D Ong mentioned in the Review. There are always people playing loud music and talking loudly and even smoking every night. Besides, there are always people singing and screaming in their room. And each time I try to deal with these issues it is time-consuming and costs lots of my energy, and most importantly, fail in the end.
Fly infestation and mould in kitchen when moving in. Helpful staff and reception, but management for rent instalment changes very poor. Overall livable but not ideal.
DON'T live here!!! NIGHTMARE The manager, UWIS, treated me unfairly and was unhelpful throughout my stay. One of my flatmates had her boyfriend stay with her for two straight months. He constantly created chaos in the kitchen, was rude and disrespectful to me, yelled at me in my face, and pointed his fingers at me aggressively. I reported this to UWIS, but he did nothing and ignored me. One day, I reported the issue to a receptionist who tried to help me get the boyfriend to leave. However, when the manager, UWIS, arrived, he spoke to the couple first and made a decision to let the boyfriend stay in the flat without even speaking to me. UWIS showed no concern, was unhelpful, indifferent, and treated me unfairly. Other receptionists are helpful like Sophia, but sadly are controlled by UWIS. I emailed UNITE Customer Service, and Sabina called, asking me to send an email with all the details. I sent the email, but unfortunately, Sabina never responded. Thankfully, I moved out today!
Staff friendly and helpful, management and the IT system not too good the existing damage forms wouldn't submit for any of us in my flat and kitchen was mouldy when moving innnRooms actually pretty goodnnEdit: down to 2 stars because they tried to make us give them 5 star reviews for a single slice of pizza lmao
