Massive indoor park with 2 huge halls and a mini ramp. There is also a foam pit that wasn’t open on our trip. There were some great lines for beginners through to experts and we had plenty of fun in our 4 hr visit. Entry price reasonable for this size of park. The food and drink on offer won’t win Michelin stars but will keep you fulled up! Staff were friendly and helpful. The shops was fine and had a cool pool table that was good for a break from the ramps.nnIt was absolutely pouring down the day we went which resulted in two minor irritations. 1. there were a few leaks in the roof which dripped on to the wood which makes it very slippy. 2. It was very busy and had a lot of small scooter riders who don’t have the best observation skills or understanding of park etiquette.nnOnly went the once but felt like scooters were the primary users of the park outnumbering others by about 3:1 skaters and BMX in equal measure
Here with my son and his friend for the second time today and yet again a great experience. Brilliant facility, excellent cafe particularly the coffee by Pure Roasters, Dumbarton with really welcoming staff. Will certainly be back
Just went back recently after 20 years and the place is incredible. It was amazing back then but now it's really amazing. Both halls are huge spaces with a mini ramp in its own room between them which is accessible from the restaurant that has a dedicated equipment shop where you can replace all your parts, tools and equipment.nnHall 1 is all large quarters, spines and a huge bowl at the back with a spine partially splitting the vert and slightly lower section. In the front there's another spine next to a box jump, both sitting between 6-8 foot quarters and half bowls with a vert at one side. There's also a little quarter that runs up a flat ramp to a hand rail that runs down to a larger quarter with a side vert that runs into the corner of the vert.nnHall 2 enters into an area with a smaller bowl section on the right with a hip transfer that leads over to a higher 3 quarter bowl. To the left of it there's a vert wall and quarter that both run into a series of boxes one of which is a step down that drops further down than the other runs and comes up to a step up which ends with a vert wall.nnTo the right of this is a steep quarter bowl with a slope flat section that can be transferred or used to return with a little bit more control. Inside the bowl is a couple of flat ledges and it all runs out of the bowl up a small flat ramp with a handrail and ledge then over to and up onto a corner section with ramps, steps, step ups, handrails and a nice ledge. These run round to the right to another small but nice street section with a couple of flat rails, a small quarter and a raised kerb with a manual pad section.nnIt's a place you can go to and spend a whole day without getting bored. It's child and beginner friendly. I saw parents hanging about watching their kids and in both halls there's a raised area where they can observe almost everywhere at once.
Nice and kind welcome the skatepark is really great minus all the little kids on scooters getting in the way was a brilliant visit
This place is located in an industrial area near dumbarton Castle, it is a large unit with a small cafe, shop for bikes, scooters, etc. You can become a member for a yearly fee of £40 which gets you money off of the price of a session. Sessions vary in price depending on how long you want to stay, 1hr,2hrs etc. There are 3 rooms available all have ramps and dips there ranging from beginner, moderate & expert depending on your availability. Room 1&2 are open but room 3 has a huge ramp that ends in a large sponge pit not for the faint hearted and trampolines, access to this room is given by a staff member as it needs supervision for safety, you can view it but to use it needs to be booked. This is a popular indoor skate park, the biggest in Scotland. Great for all weather, all ages. There are professional instructors on hand to help or you can book a private lesson to boost confidence or skill. Great value for money, huge&enjoyable. Definitely go, if you love to skate, cycle, blade, or board then this is your place, take you own drink or buy it, even if you can't do any of it equipment is on hand to hire. Helmets MUST BE WORN. For safety knee & elbow pads are advised. A great place to be, staff are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Definitely recommend a visit. X
