An absolute godsend for me!! I especially like the pricing structure in regards to the bulk payment for multiple hours. So easy to access use and drop in whenever I am in town. The library may well be free but I found it so restrictive in what I could do to enable my jobsearch. Using the lounge I was able to upload, download files, use my memory stick etc. It is so convenient AND I got a job offer too!!! A Win Win for me. I received excellent customer service.
The place is really nice and very easy to access however, the staff in there is very horrible! 1 of them is very nice but the one with the accent is an absolute joke. Last time I went there I had to wait over 10 minutes because he went behind the purple door to speak on the phone. All I wanted was to get my printed stuff. Then when he came out, he had the audacity to ask me if I can wait more to which I refused. He is rude and arrogant. To him, the customers are always wrong and he is right. I have witnessed him talk down on customers before and I refuse to support businesses like that. There are other options in the city centre please go there. I'm Never going back.
Awesome all round service including prices & customer service year after year second to none. Great helpful boss & staff always a great help never had a single problem. A very convenient public service indeed & always seems to get better & better. long may UNIS Internet Lounge Ltd continue!
This internet speeds here are fast and the PC's are well maintained.There is an array of services offered here such as scanning,faxing and printing/photocopying in black & white or colour. The staff have excellent customer services skills and are helpful.
Really and truly, this place is a scam. Spent £4 just to print out one piece of paper in black and white. However their price for using the actual cafe seems fair but I think they should have a new price just for printing as their current price is really ridiculous.
Horrible experience. I left in tears. I was trying to print out some posters and even though I'd clicked black and white, it charged me for colour. I then asked for the A3 printing as it advertised and was told I could not do this. There was no A3 printing facility. I felt absolutely conned and was met with horrible rudeness from the staff.
I’ve used Unis for years inc when they were back in the Pavillions especially for printing. They are always helpful, patient and kind. Also very knowledgible and a convenient location. I am very happy to recommend Unis Internet Lounge.
Charges £2.99 to use the Internet for 30 Mins. A complete con!!! Printing is 50p per sheet for black and white. The owner is scamming people. Do not use this place. There is another Internet cafe on shaw street in the centre. Go there and save your money.
I pop in here regularly. Between films, shopping, cafes I go to check emails, send information have a chat. The staff are friendly, helpful and so informative. Its and internet cafe with a phone shop. Prices are reasonable eg members can use computers for 15 hours for £9.99. its the only internet cafe in the city centre and attracts a lot of tourists, eg someone wanting to print out a ticket. There's a drinks machine and comfortable chairs with the up-to-date computers. It's nice and quiet but unlike the library you can use it phone here. Check it out next time Ur in Martineau Square.
Very affordable services, staff very committed and ready to help you whenever needed. Best place in the city centre if you need to print or use a computer for cheap.
