Excellent venue for live Rock & Blues music. The Sunday afternoon beer garden gigs are an incredibly chilled and laid back atmosphere with the top artists from the local live music scene. Recently renovated, the interior provides an intimate experience for music lovers on more inclement occasions. 1st visit to this venue which is pushing the live music scene in Cookstown. Came up to see Blues Direct on a Tuesday night. First live band in a bar in 18 months. Superb
Great location for live music, went up last Sunday for a gig Cookstown Blues and Rock Live Showcase, what impressed me was the owner made up sandwiches for everyone touch of class and a lovely atmosphere.
Been many years from i have been in this bar. Still the same owners still the same faces. Understaffed for toilet duties. Busy night and with that comes mess. Possibly needs a facelift but then the theme may be the attraction and the reason its passed the test of time. I would definitely go back
Wonderful bar, great for promoting the local music scene
Stopped here for a pint while waiting for a bus, very friendly pub. Clean, liked the décor also the beer garden out the back. Will definitely call in again, like to be able too stay longer next time.
