Well done to the few shops that still keep open, otherwise it is a very sad town centre , when I came first to visit Torquay 18 years ago it was the most exciting town to visit, I miss the shops the tidiness, the peace , from a unique boutique town centre it went to a poverty showroom. Sorry for the bad feedback. I wish the best for the town, but to bring life back you need to entertain the youth and their families together, you need to open a family centre where it was the Wilko that places would be an ideal choice, when families can go for fun . Like table tennis, rollerskating, bowling, mini golf, escape room, sober disco, or anything that keeps the families together for small charges, then you bring back people to the centre. I wasn’t even felt safe in the city centre. to be honest . The cinema was a great idea , the only thing is that it is still very expensive for some families.
The town of shops on the High Street has become a ghost town,,, loads of shops closed due to impossible rental rates,, the conservatives have really messed this country up,,,, Wilkes gone clarks gone all that's there is a toy shop and poundland thats more like £3-5land. Game gone
Amazing, very clean. Great shops
This could be a great shopping centre if it wasn't for the number of empty shops, Wilkos now also closed down. The astronomical cost of parking here stops us from visiting more frequently. We usually get the bus down if we need to. Greg's and Iceland are the only places here that we visit.
A sad place with so many empty shops. The car park is handy though, and cheaper than on-road.
