Love this place! We have been to many music gigs and to the Live at the Chapel comedy events and enjoyed the best range of comedians in this most spectacular and unique venue However I must give a massive shout out to how they operate their business and customer service approach. We had to cancel one of the comedy events due to a family bereavement and called to offer the tickets back as we knew it was sold out. We weren’t looking for a refund just wanted someone else to enjoy the event. The team offered to hold over and said we could call up to request another evening. We did this and then sadly had to cancel again and they very kindly held them over—again! We’ve finally used tickets that we initially bought +10 months ago. I don’t know any other theatre that would offer this. Amazing service
Visited to Watch Maro's live music show and it was my first time visiting. Absolutely gorgeous for stuff that is more acoustic, live and intimate! Great venue.
Last night at Union Chapel, I had the pleasure of seeing the incredible Julia Fordham—her performance was absolutely amazing and full of magic. However, sadly, the overall experience at the venue left much to be desired.nnThe atmosphere was dampened by overly strict staff, who were quick to tell off guests for dancing and enjoying the moment. The venue itself was freezing—I was bundled up in a winter coat, hat, and gloves, yet still shivering. Despite numerous complaints, the doors were left open, letting the freezing night air rush in.nnTo top it off, the bar area was poorly managed, with over a 30-minute wait for drinks during the interval. And even after that, we weren’t allowed to take alcohol into the concert hall.nnSuch a shame, as Julia Fordham’s talent deserved a much more enjoyable setting. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a bad taste.
Absolutely awesome venue if a bit nippy and a great intimate show with the fabulous ABC.
Came here for Vinicio Capossela, perfect intimate space for this kind of gig, a super fun night.
