Great looking pub. Looks like they spent a fair bit of money refurbishing it. Car park is large and well lit helpful since its in the middle of nowhere. Service was very good although there wasn't a lot of people in there but then we were eating mid-week and quite early 6.30pm. Food was delivered prompt enough and was both plentiful and super hot. Would certainly visit again. Parking: Large car park although could get very busy in the summer.
Took my Mum for lunch here today, lovely atmosphere and great value for money. I had the Shropshire pork that was absolutely beautiful and Mum decided on the Ploughman's lunch which she said was lovely! Would highly recommend! Definitely will be back again!
Refurbishment has not changed this lovely country pub. Always busy. Found that just after midday is ideal time as always tables available. The food is plentiful and freshly cooked. Bar service is welcoming and friendly and waitresses are helpful, polite and efficient. A regular place for us to visit and would recommend
Great night, was my first works do, in quite a few years. Food was good and there was a good portion of everything. The staff were lovely, very friendly. The entertainment was excellent as well Baby Love- Motown classics.Food: 5/5

Sunday lunch. The beef was what i would call plastic tough sliced pre cooked mash was gluepy. Roast were cheap frozen.service was quick husband had pie which was nice place very nice and spacious was pur first time going. Unfortunately would not go back.

Food is always good and plenty of it. Staff are friendly and helpful. We have taken large groups and they cater very well for them. Always a great experience. Dietary restrictions: There are some good gluten free choices
We go here often and have always loved the food and service but the past 2 months every time we have gone the food hasn't been the best the service has gone down hill and I won't we going again has I was hoping it was just the odd bad day there buts it's becoming every time nowFood: 2/5
Went here today , had a great meal , excellently cooked , just right , very helpful staff , I am in a wheelchair and they went out of their way to accomodate us , would definatley go again and reccomend to anyone who asks. Thanks very much all. Steve Payne.
