Such a nice place to walk around. So much history, very peaceful. It's great looking at the grandeur of the many stones and tombs from the Victorian era. A particular favourite of mine is the tomb belonging to the Illingworths. The place is in need of a little work but I suppose... who's going to pay for it? There are two car parks at either end of the cemetery.

Awesome place, to bad it's slowly die. All in grass and wood and if you step away from main roads all gravestone and state s are in bushes and trees destroy them. Sad to see how peaces of art get destroyed because of lazynes of wardens...

A magnificent Victorian graveyard where the great and the good of Bradford are buried. Unbelievable stone carvings grace many plots, great tombstones that would guarantee anyone a place in heaven? Scenes from Billy Liar were filmed here and also burial scenes from Peaky Blinders. Bob Cryer the labour MP rests here as does Stafford Heginbotham the former Bradford City manager. Stafford has a view of Bradford City football ground from his resting place.

Foliage & nature has been part of this historically important site for decades. Birds & trees create a sense of peace. However volunteers have a tendency to cut far too many plants and trees, which are part of the historic site . Please stop cutting down all the Foliage.

Went there for uni work/fieldtrip and its a beautiful place, some faacinating architecture as well, just a shame all the original buildings were lost
