I made a Lasagne for my workmates last year at Christmas, this year they wanted the same. It was time to do the job right and visit Umbertos for a little advice and more authentic ingredients. Thank you all at Umbertos for your time and support, you asked for pictures so as promised. The lunch was for 15 persons and everyone said how fantastic it was and this was due to using the authentic ingredients and not just off the shelf of any supermarket. Thank you Umbertos. Graham

This shop is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing. It's the only place I know of where I can buy nguja. If you ask, they'll make you the best sandwich you've ever had. Love this place.

Best place for olives and anti pasta. There is a great selection of cheese and meats.

Absolutely phenomenal olives bread and cheese, wouldn’t get my olives anywhere else and been shopping here for years. HOWEVER, my 5 star review is also mainly for the absolutely gorgeous lady that works in there. I didn’t get here name, but she was so so lovely and really looked after me when I went in there today. Saw me struggling carrying other things and got me a bag big enough and helped me pack my other items in there! As I say I didn’t catch her name but if you see this I wanted to say you are absolutely gorgeous and your lovely personality really made my day

The olives are to die for! Anchovies with garlic absolutely adorable. I popped in yesterday to get something for lunch a beautiful bruschetta the combination was so authentic. Well done Umberto Many thanks

I just discovered this hidden gem as I've recently moved to a village nearby. Oh my goodness what an amazing find! I only went in for a browse but came out with a bag full of incredible goodies that I just couldn't resist! Very friendly as well as a wonderful array of gorgeous Italian food,and wine too! So glad I found this place. I will be a regular for sure.

Very helpful service. I telephoned and discussed with Umberto my idea of an Italian platter to share with friends on my birthday. I arrived and collected prepared selection of meats, cheeses, mixed olives and salads. Umberto THANK YOU it was delicious.

I used to go to Umbertos once a week, before the weekend if i could... I have lived in london and overseas since that dreamy period in Thame... But i have never forgottend the wine, cheese, olives, and coldmeats from Umbertos. Best in the world!! Grazie...

Amazing taste and quality!! We traveled from Luton and discovered this little authentic shop! It’s like you’re in Italy! The shop owner was very helpful and all the products are top quality. I’m definitely going back!

Sad that the owner sees fit to humiliate my wife in front of other customers when enquiring about a product we hope was stocked.  Apparently Tuaca is not Italian and he made it rudely clear that they only stock Italian products. FYI - It seems that at least one company, undoubtably with better service, seems to think that it is?   Very rude person we will not be shopping there.
