Been there once and never again! I'm dancing and keeping fit for 20 years, and last year I wanted to try something different. I was there in May 2013 and maybe hopefully? things have changed in the meantime... The teacher probably knew how to pole dance I don't know, haven't really seen a lot but the warm up was ridiculous actually I wouldn't call that a warm up at all. Also, the class was not taught in a way that I would expect for the price. You literally got a list of exercises that you worked through yourself, including warm up and exercises to build up core strength. Thankfully the teacher was checking if you knew how to do the pole exercises and that were the only 5 - 10 minutes that someone was checking on you. I would definitely try pole dancing/fitness again, but not there as I love my body and my joints and I don't want to ruin them. In general I thought that the atmosphere was nice BUT I expect the teacher to have more knowledge about the human body, warm up/cool down, exercises and how to teach these things!
Love going here teacher is so helpful and encouraging
