My experience training at Ultimate performance has been life changing! I have trained with Dean at UP on Park Street for 5 months now and I’m shocked at how much progress I’ve made. I never thought it would be possible to see muscle on me after years of trying and failing on my own at the gym. For once, I finally see a difference. Dean is a fantastic trainer, enthusiastic and encouraging with bags of energy. I always feel motivated after a training session with Dean especially after seeing the results we’ve achieved. I highly recommend!
I have been training at UP Mayfair since February 2021 and it has truly changed my life! Working with my trainer Jack I have been able to completely transform not only my body but also my relationship with dieting and exercise. Jack has shown me how to create a sustainable lifestyle where I can maintain my weight/grow muscle without the unnecessary restrictions of crash dieting. I have been able to lift weights I never even considered possible thanks to the support and encouragement of my trainer. The environment of the gym is second to none, I always look forward to going in and chatting with all the trainers. There is a really strong sense of community which I have never found before in another gym.
My experience with Ultimate Performance was physically and mentally truly transformational. My trainer Tom Cocker is extremely focused and dedicated to help me achieve my goals. He provides ongoing feedback, clear and comprehensive guidance on exercise techniques and nutrition, and genuinely cares to support me on my journey to a healthy lifestyle. The equipment is top notch and the UP team is supportive and very professional. The result? My body fat is now at 8.2%! I have more energy and so all day long! Needless to say that my experience with Tom and Ultimate Performance is a true success. I very highly recommend them!
I've been training at UP for a few months now and the results have been amazing. Not only have I dropped weight and body fat but also gained muscle, and have more definition than i thought possible ! The training is a challenge, but great fun along with the monitoring of my diet, sleep, and overall movement the results have been amazing. The facilities and the team are great, spending time to coach as well as train. I now look better than I have looked in over 10 years, feel happier, healthier and in control of my training, diet, and lifestyle. The program takes commitment, but the results are incredible.
5-star! I had the pleasure of training with George at UP for ~12 weeks and I’m impressed by progress I have been able to make with his help. I feel much more energetic from the time I wake up in the morning until the late evening when I finish work. George is an amazing PT and ‘accountability buddy’. He’s enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and was there to push once it got hard. Am extremely pleased with the service and can recommend it to anyone seeking to transform their physical and mental well-being!
I have had the pleasure of training at UP Mayfair, and I must say my experience training at Ultimate performance has been nothing short of life changing. I have had lots of challenges that held me back previously as I had a chronic injury to my knee after a bad accident and was told by the doctors that I will live with this pain - pretty much forever. My trainer, Chris, adopted the right training for me and understood exactly what was needed. I am delighted to report that I have not had that pain since my training so that has been awesome. In addition, my physique has changed dramatically, had to change my entire wardrobe! the accountability shown by Chris and the whole team has been excellent, and the ownership of your goals is just brilliant. I lost 24 kilos and learnt to adopt and maintain a fantastic lifestyle which I am thrilled about, I only have a huge amount of respect and praise for UP, and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending their services.
First of all, I must thank UP for getting me to know Marvin Morrison, a brilliant PT with a lovely demeanour and competent in his field. He was the one that constantly supported me on every step of achieving my life goal. I should say, without him, I wouldn't have been able to get what I wanted. Regarding the gym itself, I should say it has excellent equipment and a welcoming environment, and I would always enjoy training there. Last but not least, and based on my experience, I would say UP will give you what you want to achieve if you commit to their programme.
Incredible personal training experience with George and UP. From day 1 on entering UP Mayfair they provide a supportive environment setting clear achievable goals. I joined after being in a rut with diet/training and running into a friend who had started training with UP and radically improved his physique. I believe the speed of the results you can achieve through UP’s process is unique and the bonus is enjoying your time in the gym.
I was sceptical when I signed up but UP has been unbelievable - everything I could hope for and more - my trainer is fantastic. I am in the middle of a transformation - there are no tricks just consistency and common sense and discipline...it is working for me and I feel fantastic. If you want a change and overhaul your life in terms of both fitness and diet - this is the place you need. Just go for it and you won't regret it
False dawns and unsustainable achievements in my workout and diet history stretch back over 20 years. With exercise I always defaulted to cardio as I never really knew where to start with weight and resistance training. In terms of diet I lost meaningful - over 40lbs - weight twice so I wasn't fazed by that aspect of the UP proposition. But the fact that I achieved such weight loss more than once, and needed to again, indicates that I didn't find a sustainable, livable approach to health management. And weight loss never equated to desired body composition. I knew UP would be the answer and finally pulled the trigger having seen the incredible results work colleagues had achieved at UP Mayfair. The gym atmosphere is motivating, professional but not intimidating, and it's clear that every trainer is fully focused on their client at all times during a workout - never distracted, always incredibly attentive to form and to how the client is responding to the exercise. Workouts are challenging, but it's just three hours in a week so they should be - optimizing your time in achieving your goals. The UP trainers motivate and challenge you to places you could never reach training independently. Progress is easy to track, and encouraging to see, in the UP Transform app where you see your progress in reps and weights for each exercise. It's a rare workout that doesn't see another personal best achieved in one or more exercises. The app is a key part of the incredible support system outside of the training sessions - tracking calorie consumptions against targets, recording your bi-weekly measurements and photos, and communicating with your trainer as much as you - or indeed they - feel you need. Goal setting is realistic and the timelines involved depend on your starting point, commitment to the process and desired outcome. UP is about results for sure - and they are indisputable. Do the workouts, hit at least 10,000 steps a day and follow the individually tailored calorie recommendations and you will achieve a transformation. But as much as it's about results, it's about mindset, habits, choices and longer-term health management - both exercise and nutrition. The knowledge shared by the trainers is immense and hugely practical in this regard and sets you up for the most sustainable result possible. My trainer at UP was Maz and I could not be happier at having been matched with her. She represents everything that UP is about and as well as leveraging all the aspects of the UP offering for my benefit, her delivery of it has been exceptional and hugely motivating. Early on I recall her saying that her goal was not only for me to achieve the transformation we set out for me, but to make me fall in love with the process, the training, the approach to healthy living. She has succeeded on all counts and I have never had more conviction that where she has guided me to, which is a different and much healthier version of myself, is totally sustainable. At times it felt like Maz has a sixth sense - that her attentiveness enables her to quickly spot when I'm capable or more but also when I might not be at the top of my game for whatever reason and may need a modified workout or set that day. Even on those days I will invariably check my workout stats afterwards and realize that she still took me to new PB's in some exercises. She has also worked around and protected niggling injuries - not from the workouts - from time to time, so they did not hold back my progress at all. She is always just a text away and has been immensely helpful in guiding me through times when I felt personal commitments might derail the process temporarily such as eating out, business trips, holidays - always ensuring that I'm equipped to ensure that they never do. I truly could not recommend Maz or UP more highly.
