Ullyotts Driffield have been, quite simply, superb handing the sale of my property. Over the last 30 years this is by far the best experience I have had selling a house. Tried applying to view property, was told to fill out 2x seperate applications for myself and my partner which is fair enough, gave them more than the standard amount of personal information even just for a viewing just to receive a letter a few days later saying we were "unsuccessful". We both work full time, decent wage, have been renting another property for over 3 years. No reasons as to why. Didn't bother calling as other reviews seem to be exactly like mine. I did wonder why they have so many properties to rent. Now I know why, they're just not accepting new tenants. Landlords do not use this estate agents. My old one was way better and the staff friendlier.
We can thoroughly recommend Ullyotts to both market and follow through on the sale once sold . Having a n estate agent that is "on it".....really helps. Thankyou to the Driffield team, Well Done !!!!
Wow. Another 1 star review. What an arrogant ignorant company. The people answering the phones need to address their opinon of themselves and management should consider some urgent customer service training. Apply to be a tennant and they'll get back to you in a few weeks, after requesting an unreasonable amount of personal data just tobtry and book a viewing. Great! Guessing landlords are happy with extended void periods. But tenants, look elsewhere if you plan to actually rent somewhere. Not proactive, not interested. Landlords - give them a call pretending to be a tenant. Especially if you already list with them - you'll soon realise why your property is still empty! The first and last time I've dealt with this dreadful agent.
I don’t normally leave reviews, but I went into the branch to ask a question. I was met by rude and arrogant staff who didn’t seem one bit interested. I went to a different estate agent on the Driffield high street who were much more professional and helpful
If you're a potential tenant, and wanting to rent a place, please please please avoid this company. They will likely require you to disclose extensive, invasive financial information just consider whether or not they will allow you to view property on their books. Note, and the level of information required is far more than required to arrange a viewing, and is even more extensive than if you were looking to buy a property through them. They do not demonstrate a clear need as to why this level of information is required - which is a clear breach of GDPR. They claim to be signed up, yet do not follow, Property Ombudsman recognised Best Practice. Then then if you legitimately, politely question the policy, your concerns are summarily dismissed. Absolutely horrendous behaviour before you're even a tenant - so heaven knows how bad they actually are once you're in the property. Run away.
We sold 2 houses to buy one new build, the sales and purchase were all done through Ullyotts estate agents, we had excellent services throughout. Really helpful staff and constructive feedback after all the viewings. I can really recommend this company.
Disgusting behaviour from this company I applied for a house to rent in Driffield so my autistic son can access the special school there and received a letter of refusal stating that I didn't meet thair criteria when I phoned and asked what the criteria was they refused to tell me. The manager will probably try to defend this as I have noticed in other reviews but it's indefensible also the woman that I spoke to on the phone was very rude and told me to go elsewhere .quote verbatim "I suggest you go elsewhere " yes also I'm not the only person to have mentioned the rudeness of thair employees! Not respectful at all and it's funny how they don't seem to have a record of my application?
Such a superb and professional service. As I live in London, selling a property in Driffield during a pandemic was never going to be easy, however Ullyotts endeavoured to smooth the difficult path for me and did all sorts of additional tasks far beyond their usual remit, whilst all the time remaining cheerful and friendly. They seemed to genuinely want to help which was invaluable as I was unable to visit the property due to lockdown. However, I felt reassured that it was left in safe and capable hands. Thank you to the whole team as you were excellent but special thanks go to Vikki and Martin.
My dad sold his bungalow with Ullyotts, all viewings were handled well during the pandemic. Definitely good value for money we thought. Initially he moved in with us, as bungalows in town were quite a rarity ones that ticked all his boxes at least. Then Martin found him the perfect one that had just come onto the market. Could not thank him enough. Lovely bungalow in a lovely area. All staff were helpful whenever we needed to contact the office. Especially like the fact that it’s a “set fee” - less likely to get into a “bidding war”.
