This is an absolutely amazing and earthy place. Was recommended this place and we decided to have a working late lunch here. The cold watermelon drink was refreshing and the food was freshly made and really flavorful. Had wild mushrooms, a poached egg on a gluten-free bun with salsa, etc and my colleagues had the Roastery hash with melt-in-your mouth roasted belly pork, both of which were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and a pleasure to interact with.
UE is my absolute go to coffee place when I'm in or anywhere near Witney. Super nice staff who greet and treat me like a friend, great food and of course excellent coffee. The roasting and packing is done in an open plan area so the sights, sounds and especially scents are always alluring! 'Guest' coffees and special blends always changing and a cool selection of artisanal condiments, teas and accessories. Recent revamp has given the ambiance a further improvement, if it was needed. Can't recommend enough for café lovers, occasional visitors and serious coffee aficionados alike. Enjoy!
Great place for coffee and lunch, I had the poached eggs on sourdough with hot sauce which was lovely. Along with a latté and chai latté, both of which were great. The baked goods are just as delicious, I had a biscoff brownie, which was very moreish so I definitely could have shared it. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again.
This is a really great place. Coffee where the barista understands how to make good coffee. Perfect brunch menu and fab ambience. We highly recommend this place. It even has a car park!
lovely coffee and friendly staff, clean and gorgeous sitting area, a very nice place for refreshing coffee.
Simply outstanding. The decor, food, and other tasties were excellent. The coffee was fantastic we had 5 coffees and left with another kg. The salmon asparagus salad is exquisite. We will be back many times.
An essential visit if you're in Witney even though it's a little bit out of town. Absolutely do not pass up on the cakes they are all excellent. Staff are really lovely and work hard too! Such a lovely cosy setting for a really good coffee.
Visited for brunch and unfortunately based on my experience I won’t be returning. The Good: Service - quick and friendly Cake - tasty if a little pricey The Average: Coffee - have had a lot better The Bad: Brunch - had the pork pattie/bacon/mushroom on a muffin with poached egg and it was all undercooked except the poached egg which was hard boiled…bit greasy too. Location - I know the area is under development so will maybe get better with time but you’re basically eating lunch surrounded by major building sites/industrial estate, noisy and not very relaxing.
Just can’t fault this place! Amazing location, plenty of seating, brilliant setting and furnishing! Fabulous staff attend to all needs quickly and efficiently. Food has been so good that we will be coming back so much more often!
Brilliant. Excellent coffee and good food too. Lovely to be able to sit by their production area there is more room away from it by the way and to be able to smell the coffee beans. Pleased to see it was quite busy. Really worth driving a few miles to it as I did beware that car parking isn't exactly abundant.
