Giving it a 4 star because we waited very long. The dessert was absolutely delicious, my family thoroughly enjoyed it however we did wait for atleast 30/35min. This place could've easily been 5/5 if we hadn't waited this long
I have gone to Twist a few times in the past and recommended by a friend for context who is a girl of Indian descent and usually receive decent service. Yesterday i had gone with my friend for context myself and my friend are black and received a completely different experience. I was not greeted nicely but was told that food was sold out, was not directed or shown a seat to sit, and we had to pay for our order on arrival. All the above is quite a different experience to the experience i have shared with my friend of Indian Descent. Bear in mind that the other customers had also paid on exit, not on entry. If i had not received good experience before i would not be posting however the consistency of the manner is important to me as a customer and the only common denominator is that i had entered the premises with a different 'crowd'. Will not be going back again and encourage people to echo their experiences so i can understand whether this was an issue of prejudice.
Excellent dessert parlour with many choices from gelato, waffles,crepes,sundaes and coffee. They have few tables for seating however you can find a table easily. Service was really great and the desserts we ordered were given on time. Parking is a bit challenge here however you will be able to find some parking just cross the road or on the side roads. Kids would definitey love this place.
A favourite for my children & me. Twist has been around for long and they have maintained the same quality throughout. Their ice line up is over 30 varieties of gelatos. They do some authentic Indian flavours such as chickoo, pan, etc. Waffles, crepes, pancakes, cakes and elaborate desserts are their speciality. They do hot food too - fries, pasta. Highly recommended!
The tomato and pesto chips were a delicious surprise. Has vegan options as well as onion garlic free options. Overall, a good experience
Nice atmosphere and tables are well attended. Quite a comprehensive menu caters for all. Quite a number of savoury dishes are served along with the usual dessert options. I personally haven't tried any as yet but look forward to trying the Falafel wrap and the chili paneer on my next visit.
Average with definitely no wow factor. There are 28 trays space for ice cream, so they don't offer 70 different flavours, in fact they only had 10 trays full when I was there, no mint, no white chocolate, no caramel, no toffee or anything similar with over half the menu not available. We were also given someone else's bill to start with, and even then charged £12.50 for two small desserts.
It's ok!! Ordered cookies and cream waffle and velvet waffle. It felt there wasn't enough chocolate and velvet cake filling.... With a dollop of ice cream. May visit 12 months later.
Desserts that are to die for, the Homemade Ice Cream is so refreshing. The staff and very friendly and chatty, service is quick and there's loads to choose from on the menu. this is somewhere you have to go. Very Highly Recommended!
Excellent, prompt service from the staff with thorough COVID measures put in place. The food arrived very quickly and tasted excellent did not have time to take a ‘before’ photo as it tasted so good. Unfortunately no tissues were provided, hence the 4*. Choice of music could also be improved.
